Bye bye Blues

"WHAT DO YOU MEAN" A shrill shriek echoed throughout the family store.

The girl stood holding a letter tightly between her know clenched fists.

"Darling" the mother started, embarrassment rising on her face.

"Oh no! Don't darling me! This is MY life and my choice. I have told you time and time again I don't want to get married let alone to some, some-" She flung her hands into the air. "-Weirdo stranger I've never met!"

"Lena! Enough" The girl's father chimed in, trying in vain to defuse the situation.

"You are 25 unmarried and to be frank a menace on this families reputation"

Lena put on a shocked expression.

"Lena I mean it." Her father went on "You should be thrilled anyone would want to marry you. This would help everyone out-You,him,and both families!"

Angry started to rise on the pretty girls sunburn face.

'Don't you dare cry now ' She thought to herself holding down tears

"Oh I see what this really is!" Lena spat towards her parents "A business deal to get rid of your problem child. Win-Win huh? "

She ripped the letter into pieces, those tears she had fought to hide began to fall. Lena turned, longer caring about the scene.
