Didn’t See That Coming.

"Julie... What is going on here? Why is he here? More importantly... HOW did you get him here?! How is he staying in ONE place?!" I could not help but feel massive anger towards her right now. After all, this man tried to drain me!

"Listen. I know you have questions. I looked up the spell my sister did and had to find a loop hole to it, and well I did." She said as she waved her hands around.

"JULIE WHY IS HE HERE!" I screamed and closed my eyes.

"Whoa whoa whoa, calm down firecracker." Mark sputtered out with a soft chuckle.

"Isabelle. He can help us find your mother. He has some information... you may want to know. It will be hard to digest it. I know if Jason or Richard saw him they would kill him before he had a chance to talk. If they know he is helping us, then we can make a deal with Mark. He said he would tell us one thing and then we make a deal for the rest." She said not taking her eyes off me.

"I... I do not understand. How would HE have any information on my mom? He hasn't been in one place for a while now!" I could feel my hands tingling, and I knew what that meant. I closed my hands into fists.

"You better tell me something useful, or I WILL light you up like a firework." I said staring right at Mark.

"Alright, alright. Calm down. Your mother was traded from me." He said still looking at me.

"So you traded my mom? TO WHO?! WHEN?!" I was not able to stop the fire this time. I looked down and my hands were booming with flames. My hands felt, warm but not as bad you would think.

"Sorry darling. Deal or No deal." He smirked and went to go strangle him but Julie stood in front me and somehow put my hands out.

"Isabelle don't do this! You will regret it later on! Focus!" Julie said, as she grabbed my face and put it inches from hers.

"Focus. We will come back later." She said not looking away from my eyes.

Julie grabbed my hand, and we left. Everything was a blur from that moment until I saw Jason. Julie explained everything to Richard and Jason, but they were not happy. At all... to say the least.

"We need to go back." I said quietly staring at Julie.

Both of the guys said, "NO!" before Julie could even get a word out.

"Why though? He is tied up, we can make a deal and find my mother. It cannot be any different than Endora, right? I just have to pick one." Jason and Richard were staring at me, mouths open and eyes wide.

"She has a point..." Julie said softly looking back and forth between them.

"Mark said he traded her. We just need to find who he traded her to, and what for. Even possibly find out where she is now."

Jason shook his head and looked down. He ran his hands down his face and looked at me, "My love, I will go with you to see Mark. Under one condition, if he does or says anything out of line? I get to deal with him. Okay?" Jason said, as his jaw locked.

I rolled my eyes and nodded.

"Well; let's not waste any more time. Richard?" Julie looked at Richard waiting to see what he says.

"I guess. Where is he? I'm on Jason's side with this. He says one thing or tries anything? He's a dead man." He said sternly.

Julie took us down where Mark was.

Jason and Richard were quiet the entire way. Once We were all in the room with Mark, it didn't take him a second to say something smart.

"Well well well, look who we have here. My dear old friends." Just as he said the last word Jason smacked him across the face.

Jason grabbed his cheeks and made Mark look at him, "I would be careful in what you say, if I were you. We are having NO mercy on you, and will NOT hesitate." His voice was very... cold, and harsh.

"I will not have you be free to "Alright, alright, you two stand behind Isabelle. Isabelle come to me dearest." Julie said as she grabbed something from a table in the corner.

"This is a truth spell. He will speak only the truth. Mark, what is your trade?" Julie said as she looked at him.

"Hmmm. To be free."

"No." I said quickly.

Julie looked at me, astonished.attempt to kidnap me again and drain me of my blood." I said standing up straight and not breaking eye contact with Mark.

"Ha. I see you've caught on to some things here, firecracker." He chuckled. I held my arm up before Jason could cross me and get to Mark.

He growled, but stayed in place.

"Find another price. If you do not, I will just have them kill you now and we can go with our other source. You pick." I said, trying to sound as stern and serious, as possible.

I could hear Mark grind his teeth. "Fine."

He sat there thinking, then Julie broke the silence.

"Here's what we can offer you. I only temporarily paused your spell. I can make it so you never go back. You would be free from the spell, but kept watched until proven you can be good."

I nodded at Julie and looked at Mark. Seeing if he would take the deal or not.

"We haven't all day!" Richard said as he raised his voice. It echoed against the walls and made me shiver.

Mark looked at Richard, Jason then Julie and then me.

"Deal." He said softly, so softly you'd think he didn't say anything at all.

"Good." Me and Julie both said in unison.

"Who did you trade my mother to, Mark?" I said, eager to find out.

"Are you sure you wanna this? You may want to sit down. It will be hard to hear, and that is coming from your old friend, Isabelle." He said and actually looked sympathetic.

Julie got me a chair, and Jason and Richard were sitting on both sides of me.

We all stared at him, waiting for him to continue.

"The person, came to me, and traded me a fair amount of money for her. His name is, no other than, John Charles." He locked eyes with me.

I couldn't move. John Charles?

Jason and Richard stood up next to me.

"WHAT?!" They both said.

"Yes. He has her as we speak. There is something else you need to know, Isabelle..." he said as he trailed off into a whisper.

"WELL?! SPIT IT OUT!" I roared as I stood up.

"Isabelle... John Charles... is your father."
