SCP: A TRUE ANOMALY

From one moment to another, without any warning, a city was destroyed with unnatural speed.. From there, the nearby cities one by one started to fall. The SCP reached to know, but without much knowledge, they were unable to organize better, and so, different MTFs started going to the actual position of the anomaly.

After some time, MTF α-9, Last Hope, was the first one to arrive, as was the closer one to the position of the anomaly. After they entered the city where the anomaly was, the city was only in pure destruction and chaos, covered in flames and blood. Dr. Sophia Light, seeing the situation, ordered the assistance of SCP-073, who after a moment, got brought successfully to their location.

Few seconds later of SCP-073 being brought, few helicopters also reached the position of MTF α-9. MTF α-1, was sent for strange reasons, but Alpha-1 OPCOM didn't give any explanation to Dr. Sophia Light.

Without further instruction, or even in the slightness, MTF α-1 they split up and began searching the destroyed city. After low time seeing them split up, MTF α-9 started going in their own search, with SCP-073 in the front.

In no much time later, all the groups started hearing deep growls all over, as is were multiples growling around them. In a instant, a group of MTF α-1 started shooting, but then stopped in no time. The other groups had it clear now, the anomaly was very fast murdering, and must have killed already a group, at least.

After quite a silent moment, MTF α-9 were in panic, with the nervous making them struggle, but they remained in position while searching around the debris and chaos. SCP-073 remained normal all the way, feeling deeply, sad and worried for everything that happened, but there was nothing he could do than try to stop it, for no more deaths.

Without them knowing, group after group, MTF α-1 were falling down like mosquitoes, until were only the main group of MTF α-1, and MTF α-9. Both suddenly encountered each other in middle of searching, but after hearing the growls around them, both groups ended positioning as one.

In a sudden, MTF α-1 started shooting, the anomaly was somewhere in front of them, but when MTF α-9 turned around, they had to move back, as some strange black tentacles appeared in between the both groups, and then, before MTF α-9 could shoot the tentacles, much gas bombs were thrown in the other side, and quickly, all the around was covered in smoke, and silence.

Slowly, the gas started fading away after a moment, and all the MTF α-1 were gone, same for the tentacles, where they were before, now where only holes in the ground. MTF α-9 remained in position, looking all around them, as they were hearing the growls around them, until in a sudden, they saw some black color cover the ground in some distance of them, and slowly, taking shape as something was getting out. Then, they saw how the anomaly had a humanoid shape, all black color, with red crimson intense eyes and mouth, sharp claws as fingers, and all of it's body covered in sharp bones, arms, legs, torso, back, neck, except head, where was the mouth instead the skull.

They started shooting, but the anomaly used some black tentacles from it's back to cover, while slowly started to walk towards them. The group started retreating, while shooting, but then, the anomaly moved it's tentacles back, it's chest and torso to in front, and then, the tentacles went under the ground.

The ground started shaking, and one by one, big tentacles started going out of the ground, trying to capture the group, and demolishing everything on it's way, until did a mistake, grabbing SCP-073, and attempting to split it in half, which resulted in the anomaly being the one that split in half. The tentacle quickly dropped SCP-073 down, and the tentacles went back under the ground, while they observed how instantly, the anomaly recovered from being split in half.

The anomaly was staring intensely at SCP-073, both staring at each other, and in a quick sudden jump, the anomaly jumped up of SCP-073, crawling up of him, and pushing it against the ground. With his body being trapped by the grip of the anomaly, SCP-073 couldn't move even the least, except for his head.

But in a quick moment, Dr. Sophia Light, grabbed a gas mask and some sort of smoke grenade from the ground, and with an idea, quickly ran towards both. The anomaly looked up, but before could react, Dr. Sophia Light pulled the ring of the gas grenade, placed inside the mask, and then, forced the anomaly to wear the mask.

The anomaly quickly tried to pierce her, but the grenade exploded, covering the mouth and face of the anomaly, who then stopped trying to attack her, and focus in try to quit the gas mask, but in low time, the gas started giving a direct effect on the anomaly, making it shake and struggle in do proper moves to quit the mask.

After the anomaly started to struggle, fell down, attacking the air, and letting SCP-073 free, who then got up and replaced Dr. Sophia Light, now being him who was forcing the anomaly to wear the mask, while the anomaly was breathing the gas without any choice.

After a moment of struggle, the anomaly stopped moving, and Dr. Sophia Light checked it, and confirmed it was still breathing.
