Chapter 86

Cleo had known he was in already. The news was rippling all over the school forum. But nothing had prepared her for seeing him close up. He sat in the middle of the room on a chair that seemed quite small and struggled to hold up his heavyweight. A lock of hair fell over his face as he shifted constantly to get comfortable. She almost stumbled in her rush to get to him. 

He was oblivious to her. He stared rather blankly at his desk whiles murmurs echoed around him. Some girl sat on his left side, sketching a rather distorted image of him in her book. Schooling her features to look intimidating, she stopped before her and ordered.

"Get up!"

One look at Cleo's stern face sent the girl spiralling out of her seat. She sat, her eyes still thoroughly fixed on his face. His roman nose was hooked and covered in honey tanned skin just like the rest of him. She scooted closer to feel the body heat radiating off him, basking in the warmth that sent a thrill to her toes.
