A boy Called God

Elizabeth was a town known for its tranquil essentials and rich fertile soils, all locals were Christian and they put God before anything. The town was as peaceful as many travelers liked going there nevertheless it had a forest of 497 km2 which was beautiful as it was evergreen and had a lot of different animals. The town was agitated in 1700 when the forest of Wharton State was rumored to have monsters as locals heard weird voices, sounds and livestock were disappearing without a trace too. The locals disdain the rumor as they thought it would not be nothing but just wild animals from the Forest.

The town was now in fear as 3 locals went there at night but were never found, 39 years passed but everything was calm until people and domestic animals started to vanish without leaving any traces behind. Joseph Bonnel the mayor of Elizabeth took it upon himself to gather soldiers and searched through the forest but found no monster however 50 headless bodies of people, the mayor could not help it but shed tears as innocent people were killed horribly and yet they don't know by what. The mayor announced the deaths of people but the town was now in fear as to what is going on and what is killing all people and domestic animals. The mayor had the forest searched for hours, days and weeks but nothing was found.

Martha Edwards was a fascinating, bewildering young girl whom was loved by almost every local for her convalescent doctorial skills. Martha had a patient but the medicine she prescribed was not working, she then went to the forest late in the afternoon to look for herbs that could help the patient. She was cutting small beaches from the top of a tree which was 10 meters tall, she slipped and fell down but out of nowhere she was saved by boy who was quick as lightning then vanished without even his face being seen by the girl. The girl searched the forest for days and weeks trying to find the boy but she then came back empty handed. "Just where in the world are you hiding?" Martha asked herself.

The locals filled a petition to the head of police officer as they were concern about the wellbeing of the doctor who kept on going back to forest even after what befell the town. The head officer then tried talking to Martha but she kept on telling them that there is a human living in the forest yet everyone thought she was spewing nonsense. Martha's clinical partner Nicole tried talking to her not as working partners but as friends as she was also a victim on the cases of 50 dead locals but she never listened she went there at day and night.

Nicole was one the locals who worked closely with Martha but she could not take it as one of the victims who were murdered was her brother, she went to the forest and set it on fire as she could not come to peace with the death of her brother. Wharton State caught fire and all animals were destined to die but the boy was now forced to leave the forest to survive.

Martha and the locals were all over the place trying to put out the fire as she realized that there was a boy however it was too late as the fire already spread all over the forest, once again the boy was the hero as he put out all the fire overnight after the locals gave up all by himself but that came with a hefty price as he was burnt all over his body. The entire town and the doctor were so astounded that not even a single word could come out when they woke up in the morning and the fire was out, the only thing they found was a young boy sleeping as a dead person and burnt all over.

The doctor and locals rushed to the clinic to save the boy, the entire town then believed God saved them through the boy. The boy healed over night, when the doctor and David the lead police officer walked in there he was awake and moving as if nothing happened. She was so startled to as how is the boy not bruised and walking fine because of it were a normal human it would take them 6 months to heal. The moment changed the boy's life as he was now being called a God by the locals after all the wonders he did with the fire and the rate at which his wounds heals.

"Am Martha so what's your name?," the boy never responded, " okay let's talk about something else why are you staying in the forest on this cold weather?" yet again he never said a thing. Martha then took the boy to her house. She was so eccentric about his appearance but the boy was staggered by everything he saw as it was the first time he sees them. Martha's curiosity led her to do some research trying to find out the identity of the boy who had no name, cannot talk and knew nothing about humans and yet looked like one. The boy was completely different from a normal human being, his blood was purple and how he heals was 100 times faster than a human being.

The doctor gave up on the research as nothing was coming out but instead she hid the boy taught him how to speak behave and gave him a name. The doctor had no idea that the boy who she named Kai could do anything after he has seen it. Kai read all the books in Martha's study room both scientifically and spiritually. The boy went on to be the finest doctor ever and the best preacher ever.

The town believed in him and went on to call him a God. His presence brought popularity to the town of Elizabeth, Christians from all the over the world came there to request for prayers. The forest of Wharton was green again and people who went there anytime and nothing happened. James was a chemist and biologist who for once never believed in God and Kai, James exposed the entire town to a virus to test if Kai is indeed a God. The virus never infected him at all however the locals were crying as half of the town were infected yet the doctors could not do anything as they had no idea what the virus is not did Kai.

"hey James! Please do not tell me that you are the one responsible for the virus?" Martha said but James responded furiously "Is that how low you thought of me? After all I have done for this town, is this the treatment I get for my hard work? Yet Again Martha you have disappointed me." James was so hurt by her words however he got curious as to how did she found out.

Kai did not know what to do as people kept on pilling at the city hall and asking for his presence. Kai went to the city hall and touched a patient's forehead for 10 seconds, "Kai what are you doing!, just because they call you God does not mean you are one however your intelligence is the reason" Martha said but Kai ignored her words yet the patient was healed, the town was again brought to its knees by Kai.

Kai healed all 12 000 patients with his touch. The town now truly began to believe that God has risen in Kai's form but Kai did not know that his touch was simply not healing but getting the virus himself. The boy was then sick for 30 days nevertheless the rumors spread all of the world and that left scientists curious as they always wanted to see the power of a Supreme Being. Kai was no longer Kai but a God.
