Selene told me that I had to choose between my daughters happiness or a life?

"I don't understand"

Selene walked towards the river bank where I was standing and placed her hand on my shoulder.

"This is not the destiny that I had planned. You were meant to find happiness and Violet was supposed to be mated to Liam. I have a destiny for her just like I have for you but she will not be able to succeed without her mate. You became the glue that held them together and you were not supposed to leave this early. They barely recovered last time and I'm afraid that they won't be able to this time. However you have proved anything is possible so I have a quest a challenge if you will that will result in a little more suffering for you."

I pondered what she said." Ok once I go back then everyone will be ok again and I can explain everything. Yes that Will work I'm ready."

She smiled" let me finish child you believed that love conquered all and as long as you had each other you could get through anything so I'm here to test that. You will be going back to earth but not as Rose. You must reunite Liam and violet and also get one of your mates to fall in love with you."

"They are grieving their mate. They are grieving ME?!? How will I make them open their hearts?"

"That is for you to figure out my child but I have faith. I will be giving you your memories but you will be in the body of a warrior and go by the name of Liza"

This was all happening so fast.

"What about Lilly?"

She looked off into the lake and sighed.

"She will be going with you but you have to hide your identity. If you tell them who you are then my deal is off."

It was risky I knew I needed to succeed or she will be taking a life of someone I loved and I couldn't imagine it but I also can't let my kingdom perish.

"I agree to your task."

"That is not all my child the life you must sacrifice will be yours if you don't succeed but if you do then it will be your future child."

My heart stopped I have to give up one of my children? On that note it was a child that isn't even born yet. I took a deep breath in. To take away the pain of my family I would sacrifice anything.

"I agree to your challenge."

"I knew you would follow the light and begin your journey. Good luck my child I hope you succeed."

She faded away so gracefully and the light appeared. I was nervous but I knew that everyone I cared about still needed me and I had no choice. So I followed the light. I will save my daughter and Mates.

Violet Pov:

(Days after the birthday party)

Today we laid my mother's body to rest. Everyone mourned their queen but For me said goodbye to my mother. I was holding the hands of my twin brother Colton and little brother Cedric. Our dads didn't come but I knew they were watching. Rumor has it that they once our people lost my mother long ago and everything went dark for awhile.

No one really talks about what happened during that period and I try not to ask. Everyone said kind words about how she was An amazing queen she was and how kind she was. Nice words but nothing to personal? No one talked about what she was like as a child or how she was before she became queen? I wonder if my mom was a quiet person growing up? I loved my mom but sometimes I feel like I couldn't talk to her. She was always rainbows and butterflies I began to wonder if she had ever gone through anything bad in her life ever. I felt numb the entire funeral and after I said my thanks to everyone I locked my self in my room. Once the door closed I let the tears I had been holding fall.

Reality finally set in.

My mother was gone. I didn't get to say I love you one last time.

I didn't get to apologize for all of our fights.

What we never did is just done.

I'm pulled my legs to my chest and stayed there for what felt like hours.

When I finally mustered up the strength I made my way to my desk. There was one box that I hadn't noticed until now it was little and purple. When I opened I I saw a note that read:

'To Mon Papillon(my butterfly),

You are finally become a woman. Things will be changing for you very soon and you will go through things that you never thought possible. I want you to know that I am here for you and you can come talk to me. Believe it or not I was a teenager once upon a time. The woman in our life have come from a long line of flowers and You violet are one of them. I gave you this name for much more than that. Violets are heart shaped flowers but they also symbolize the simple joys in life, and darling being your mother is the greatest joy I could ever ask. Come find me when you open this and we can eat lunch and gossip about who your mate might be!

MoM'

I tried my best to make I through the letter but I had to keep stopping because my tears were ruining the pages. I wiped them away and looked into the box and inside was a beautiful butterfly necklace with ice blue and deep purple wings. I loved it. It reminded me of my mother's eyes and the violet eyes of my mother's wolf.

I looked back at her letter and re read it. Then something clicked. She wanted to talk about my mate.

Ha if only she knew that he killed her. He will never be my mate and I will make sure his life is just as worse as mine.

(Flash back to the party)

Liams Pov:

I had been so excited. About a month ago I had been talking with my aunt Lori. She told me everything about my mother and even gave me some pictures. I was over the moon because everyone refused to talk about her, my father wouldn't even acknowledge that she ever existed. Wasn't she his mate? How could he just forget about her?

My aunt had been talking about how much she missed me and how much it broke her heart that she missed all of my firsts. She had been begging for me to invite her to my birthday party so she can see everyone again. She said that once upon a time they all went to school together and were super close. I felt bad that she missed so much so I gave her the invite. She was thrilled and told me to keep it a secret so that she could surprise all her friends. I did as she said and when she texted me that she was finally here I met her at the border. It was a short walk from where we were and only took about 10 min. Before we entered the house she handed me some powder and a piece of paper that had a spell on it.

"This is my gift to you. Tonight when you are alone spread the powder and recite this spell. Your mother wants to say happy birthday." She was smiling so big. This would let me tap into the spirit realm. I hugged her so hard finally I would be able to talk to my mother just once. It was the best birthday present I could ask for. Atleast that's what I thought until we got closer to the balcony and the sweetest scent of caramel hit me.

"Mate" my wolf dalton was going crazy. I picked up my pace and hit the back door when my eyes hit Violet.

We both said

"Mate" in unison!

I couldn't believe it. I had already had a crush on her but now she was my souls mate! Now this was the best present ever. We were so wrapped up in our gazes I hadn't noticed what was happening until my father pushed me out of the way and killed my aunt. What the hell was going on?

I bent down to my aunt and I began crying I hadn't noticed what happened to the Luna. I looked up shocked and when I took a step towards Violet she slapped me and ran.

My father took me home and no one spoke a word to me he just told me to go to my room and stay there. I made a mistake I didn't know.

I didn't know.

I felt like I had no one to talk to so I called upon the one person that might be able to give me guidance. I followed the steps exactly how my aunt said and in the circle erupted a yellow glow.

"Hello my song" my mother's spirit appeared in front of me. How I wish I could hug her right now.

"I have missed you mother. I need your help mom everyone refuses to talk to me. Mom I'm scared my mate might reject me. Why would aunt Lori do this?

My mother knelt down and came as close as she could " she was avenging me my son."

I looked at her "what do you mean?"

"Those twins ruined my life and made my mate turn his back on me. Rose took everything from me and then when I was at my lowest she Murdered me in cold blood. Your aunt watched me suffer. I wanted to run away with you but Rose stole you from me."

"The royals did this to you."

She nodded

"Yes my child don't hate your aunt for doing what she did. If it wasn't for Rose you would still have your mother."

My mom looked defeated and broken even in the afterlife. A life for a life the Luna killed my mom and so it was only fair for her to lose hers.

I knew one thing was for sure. My mate will be just as miserable as me.
