Massacre

In a dark alley, a random thug just finished their dirty job and went to a dark alleyway to take a smoke. As he was about to take a puff, he looked up in the night sky, it was very dark with only the light source from the street lighting his surroundings. He take his cigarette and smoked, after which he blow the smoke out and put again in his mouth. But as he about to do it, 2 hands appeared by each his side and with a huge force, put cigare in his mouth.

Taken by surprise, the thug didn't know what just happened and he was in pain. He struggled with all his might but the person in question didn't even budge. After taking putting cigarette in his mouth, the person turned his body facing him and punched him in the stomach, spilling the cigarette that is still burning with a lots of smoke coming out of his mouth.

He faced the person and tried to punch it, but it got his hand and grab his arm, then it did a flip on his legs and he fall down with a huge 'thump' noise.

A hand grabbed his face and squeezed him, he fought back with all his strength, but couldn't escape. The mysterious person stretched its arms and slapped him in the face. Despite being a slap, the force produced was so strong that blood spit out of his mouth. The being then dropped him on the ground.

The thug's head was dizzy and couldn't get up. Suddenly, the being then did something that made his eyes bulged. The person used waved his hand and the blood on the ground and in his mouth came to his face and solidified covering his mouth.

The thug was so scared that he forced himself to get up and ran with all his might. The thief tried to go out of the alley and scream for help. He tore of the solidified blood and was about to shout for help. Unfortunately, when he wanted to shout, the blood that he tore off transformed into a sharp spike. The figure then appeared behind him and used the spike to plunge it into his skull. He immediately died and fell to the ground.

The light from the streets slowly revealed the figure only to show a teen girl that had yellow eyes. Yelena grabbed the man with her arms and threw him into the alley. She had been going to the temple and found an idiot that didn't watch the news of her murders. Of course she took the opportunity to kill him and practise her skill.

When she left and ran towards the temple she surprisingly gained a new mission.

[Mission: Massacre Monks

Description: The temple is filled with annoying people that demons hate and filled with souls for you to use. Kill all of them without alerting the civilians or police.

Reward: +3 strength, +5 agility, +5 vitality]

When she saw the rewards she immediately got excited. Something like this would easily make her stronger. Even the difference of 1 for a stat was important for her. The 'her' 3 days ago was completely different than the current 'her'.

Back to the present, she finally arrived at the temple. It wasn't easy avoiding the police without making too much noise but she succeeded. Now came the hard part. Killing monks without alerting them. She silently went inside the temple trying not to alert anyone.

Yelena's heartbeat was beginning to pump fast and her steps were as silent as that of a cat. Soon she saw a hallway with doors and slowly went to the first. When she opened she saw two men sleeping in a room in futons. She took a knife from her pocket cutting her hand. The blood slowly coiled around the knife and became solid.

Yelena slowly went over one of them and immediately covered his mouth and slit his throat. The man woke up but before he could do anything the knife plunged in his skull. Unfortunately, the man next to her woke up from the little bit of noise.

She pulled out the knife and stabbed his throat. The man's eyes went wide and he gargled. His mouth filled with blood couldn't even mutter a single word. She stabbed the man in the head two more times until he was dead.

Yelena left the room and did the same to 18 more monks. She finished off the last monk until something unexpected happened. She heard 3 footsteps coming towards the room she currently was.

The door opened and 3 monks saw her with a knife coated with blood and 3 more monks dead. She immediately dashed at one at stabbed him in the face. His skull was broken and the knife plunged into the brain. She retracted the knife and sliced at another monk.

The monk reacted in time and blocked the knife with his hand before it could slice his throat. "MURDERR!!" The other monk screamed at the top of his lung and ran away from the room. But suddenly, a knife plunged into his throat. Yelena then twisted the knife and slashed the throat open letting the monk struggle to breath.

She quickly dashed out of the room only to find monks holding wooden staffs and other weapons looking at her sharply.

'I should've put together a better plan.' She cursed inwardly.

[Don't dally around and go finish them. Remember if one of them goes outside and alerts the authorities then you will fail your mission.]

"Right no time to play around. Pump the remaining souls to level me up to 5." As she finished saying this, a monk charged at her with a stick raised in the air about to strike her head down.

Her perception of the monks slowed down and she could see the staff slowly closing in on her. Her hands then caught the staff. She took the staff away from him and stabbed the red coated knife on his head instantly killing him. A smile crept up on her face as she saw the new message.

[Skill Blood Manipulation Lv.2]

'I can feel the blood in their bodies constantly moving now.' She then lifted her arms and directed it at one of the monks. At first everyone was confused, but then the man began to spasm and grasping his throat. Blood then began pouring out of his mouth, eyes and ears.

Everyone stood there in shock whether they were old or young. One of the elderly then said. "You demon! We must defeat you and free your soul!" At that moment all of them rushed at her with the intent to kill.

The blood from the dead monk formed into multiple spikes. The spikes were then launched at the back of the heads of multiple monks. Yelena dashed forward and used her new skill. Her legs were then coated with dark blue water but instead of hindering her movement it only made her faster and more flexible.

Yelena kept dashing forward killing everyone with her knife or her skill. Soon no one was left standing and were all dead.

Yelena was panting and was out of breath. "Seems like I got everyone, 23 more souls for me alone. What should I invest in?" She began daydreaming about what she would want.

"Wait! System, where's my reward?" She began panicking and ran out of the temple.

[As you just realized, one of the monks ran away to warn authorities about the intruder. You're lucky that they don't carry any communication devices or you would of failed the mission.]

'Damn it. I shouldn't have let down my guard.' Yelena looked around and soon saw a monk running down the long stairs and was soon going to be near the residents.

'System level my new skill up as high as you can!'

[Leviathans Dive Lv.3]

Her speed reached a new limit as she chased down the runner. With her stats alone, she was faster than all humans. But with her skill she became so fast that people wouldn't be able to react at how fast she was.

The man kept screaming for help and she could hear it. She soon arrived close to him and was about to kill him when she saw a man and a woman walking down the street looking towards the direction of the monk.

Before he could scream again, a knife slit his throat and a pair of hands snapped his neck. Thankfully the light was dim so the couple didn't seem her and they ran away in fear that they heard the ghost from the murder. Her first mission was a success.

She felt even more alive then before. And her power increased even more.

'That dumb couple! Why are they still outside at night when they know that there is a murderer on the loose!' She sighed inwardly in relief that she managed to do it before dashing toward couple killing them and drag their bodies towards a dark place.
