Chapter 2: Leaky Cauldron

"Hey, Uncle Ben, thanks for bringing me." said the young boy in front of a shabby pub with a large sign saying, "Leaky Cauldron". As they entered the boy with stormy gray eyes looked around examing the people filling the Leaky Cauldron. In the corner of his eyes, he heard a girl asking numerous questions of the wizarding world.

Uncle Ben replied with, "No problem Mihal, shame your mom couldn't come. Would've loved the look on her face."

Mihal mumbled underneath his breath, "not like she has time."

Acting as if he didn't hear what Mihal just said, he just strolled toward a brick wall leaving his young nephew behind. Mihal seeing this quickly followed along.

Right before his uncle opened the door to the wizarding world, a girl quickly asked, " Is it okay if we head in with you?"

Mihal and his uncle turned around to see an eleven-year-old girl with bushy hair, and buckteeth standing in front of them.

The girl in a bossy tone says, "Hermione Granger, nice to meet you."

Mihal thought, 'I don't think I really like her.'

His uncle quickly said noticing the awkward silence between Mihal and Hermione, "The kid's name is Mihal Gregorovitch, and I'm his uncle, Ben." "Sorry about Mihal, he's a strange kid."

Mihal hearing the insult responded with, "Please, says the man that brought a baby dragon into the house." "Still remember when Mom came home, and almost kicked you out."

As uncle Ben laughed loudly with a gritty tone. He commented, "It was worth it, seeing the look on your mom's face. " "And to answer your question Hermione, yes you may."

Hermione's face quickly turned into a bright smile, and she yelled, "Mum, Dad I found someone to take us in!"

"Honey, you shouldn't yell," Mrs. Granger replied with as she walked over.

"It's okay, she's just excited" "Nice to meet you, my name is Wendell, and this is Monica."

As the Grangers introduced themselves, Uncle Ben responded with "Hello, the name's Ben Kim."

Mihal said to his uncle, "Stop acting tough, your not."

His uncle responded with, "Hey, I'm an Auror. "

Mihal quickly ignored him and introduced himself. "Hello, my name is Mihal Gregorovitch."

After the introductions were in place, uncle Ben walked over a brick wall. He brandished his wand from his dueling holster and tapped the wall. As he finished, the bricks on the wall started to shuffle out of the way. As the noise quickly settled down the view of Diagon alley could be seen.

Uncle Ben said, "Alright Mihal let's start shopping." "It was nice meeting you young lady, and have a good day Monica, Wendell."

"It was nice meeting you," said Mihal. Then the duo started to walk away.

"Quite a strange man, but I like him."

Monica replied with, "Hermione seems to have a crush."

Hermione groaned and said," Mum, please don't tease me. "
