Ch 29: Routine, School & Magic

It has passed a week since Zircon and the others moved to Kuoh Town.

He had the chance to meet Irina again, however, he felt disappointed when she didn't recognize him. Asako told him that her father might have erased her memory to prevent her to remember the traumatic event of that day.

Even so, Zircon felt a little sad when he knew about that, but at the same time he felt relieved because he feared the kind of reaction she would have towards him if she remembers.

During that time, he really enjoyed playing with her during their free time. After all, she needed to be in school.

Alas, every good thing is accompanied by something bad; and let's just say that that bad thing or better say person was called, Hyoudou Issei.

At the beginning, after knowing that the kid was Irina's friend, he chose to try to be friends with him. However, he quickly took back that decision after only ten minutes after meeting him.

He simply couldn't believe it. That kid was beyond of shameless. He was spouting nonsense about him being surrounded by beautiful women with big breast and he becoming a 'Harem King'.

After some explanations from Asako, he understood that a harem was a group of women or man that were in a relationship with one single person.

Now, those things weren't the real problem. Even if Issei was annoying each time he was talking about harems, etc., Zircon let it pass because it wasn't really his problem.

However, that changed when Perv-issei, as how Zircon calls him now, gave Yuria and Asako a lecherous look at her breasts. Both woman felt disgusted, but Zircon was furious.

If it weren't because Perv-issei was Irina's friend and the Hyoudou's only son, he just punched him in the face, obviously containing his strength.

This ended in a fight, but fortunately, Yuria and Miki stopped them. Then, after hearing what happened, Miki scolded Issei and Yuria did the same with Zircon. She told him that even if he didn't like the look that Issei made, it was still bad to punch him for such a small thing.

Both of them reluctantly apologized with each other, and there were still some bad feelings between them. The only one who made sure that they didn't hate each other was Irina. Even if they didn't hide the dislike between each other, at least they didn't have any rancorous feeling against each other.

As time passed by, there were other changes in Zircon's routine, overall about his training.

He was still going to his daily morning running with Asako at 5:00 a.m. However, the difference was that now they ran through the neighbourhood to the mountain, and many of their neighbours saw them doing it during all week. Even some of them joined them in part of their route.

Then, the next thing to do was to assist Yuria's classes, or at least that's what he wanted to do. It seemed that Asako and Yuria had already arranged everything for him to assist to the elementary school in Kuoh Academy. They wanted that Zircon could learn how to socialize with other kids of his age.

At first he felt reluctant to assist because he felt that he could learn more from Yuria's classes, but then again, he had to give it a chance before giving up. Yuria said that she would still giving him some tutorials in case he has questions about the topics.

Of course, this was in part an excuse for her to replenish her time with Zircon after her time with him was reduced due to his transference.

Anyway, moving to another point, Zircon's day didn't end only with that. During nighttime, he along with Yuria would visit Cleria's manor to do magic training.

Asako couldn't accompany them because it seems that the OSD is being very insistent for her to stay. Apparently, she has already presented her retiring letter to the office, but the organization tried to convince her by raising her salary, giving her a promotion and many other rewards which she shamelessly accepted. However, no matter how many things they tried they couldn't make Asako change her mind, but due to their stubbornness she didn't have any other option than negotiate with them.

I mean, she could simply leave them if she wants, but then they would be a stone in her shoe in the future and she preferred to avoid that.

Returning to the main topic, Zircon and Yuria arrived to the front gate of the two-story manor. There, Cleria along with a man and a woman who seemed to be wearing what seemed to be similar to priests' clothes, with the difference that the man was wearing a black one and the woman a white one.

"Good night, Cleria-nee, Albert-sensei, Sophia-sensei." Zircon greeted them politely, and then he bowed. "I'm under your care this night again."

"Polite as always, Zircon-kun" Said Sophia.

"I hope you are prepared for the lesson of today." Said Albert while cracking his knuckles.

Zircon shivered a little after seeing his action, but at the same time, he was becoming more excited for the training of that night.

"Please take care of me again, Sophia-san." Said Yuria smiling at the female priest.

"Fufufu. Of course. When we finish we'll continue with our 'talk'." Answered Sophia.

"Today, Zircon is going to learn close combat magic with Albert and Yuria will learn some support spells from Sophia." Said Cleria smiling at her two visitors. "And as a reward... Zir-kyun will have to give this onee-san a tight hug."

"Isn't that a reward for you?" Said Yuria in a nonchalant tone.

"I said it was a reward, but not for 'who'."

"Haah." Yuria sighed, but there was nothing she could do, after all, there was nothing wrong with that. "Ok, but the next one will be me."

"Of course, of course." Cleria waved her hand in a playful way.

Then, a grey circle magic with the emblem of Belial's household was manifested on the floor and an adult woman appeared on top of it. If Zircon remembers well, her name was Rebecca, and she was the 'Queen' of Cleria's peerage.

"Ara, Becky. What happened?" Asked Cleria with curiosity.

"I have brought new information about 'that' topic." Said Rebecca with a serious expression.

Seeing her expression, Cleria noticed that whatever Rebecca brought was something serious and that needed to be discussed in private. She gave her 'Queen' and friend a nod and dismissed her. Then, she turned her attention to her guests.

"Sorry, but it seems that the reward has to be postponed for another day." She made a slight sad expression. Then she hugged Zircon regaining her smile. "This is just an advance."

Zircon was accustomed to Cleria's actions. She was someone very caring and affective with the people that she considers her friends and family.

Cleria then separated from him and went inside the manor, following the direction where Rebecca went.

"Well, Zircon-kun, are you prepared to break some bones?" Asked Albert.

Zircon gulped with nervousness while imagining the pain in which he would be going through, but at the same time, he couldn't wait.
