No Mercy

The Troll feels a chill down his spin realizing only now he and his men had made a big mistake. Gritting his teeth he says "I apologize dark lord.. We didn't know the woman had relations with your lordship." The large Troll bows to show respect. Rune sneers. Not many knew what Lilith looked like and even though the fact of her being my sister isn't hidden, it wasn't widely known. Lilith likes to travel and in order to do so she needs to keep a low profile.

"I have a hard time believing you and your men accidently stumbled across my sister. My reports show that you are normally further south.. so why are you here in my land touching things that belong to me?" Rune says in a growl. The Troll breaks out in a cold sweat. Sister?! They really were done this time. Trying to save himself and his men he decided to tell him everything.

"I was approached by a man a few days ago and he told me this woman had killed his wife and child! He paid us to take care of her and even told us where she would be traveling. I beg you to understand that we were misled!" The Troll then kneels. "Do you have any way to contact this man or any information on what this man looks like?" Rune ask in a deathly calm voice. The Troll shook his head clenching his large fist. "He had worn a cloak completely covering his face."

His men were all but dead except for a few. The few left were thrown next to the Troll and completely surrounded by the shadow guard. "This is all that's left. There's a tent filled with women and children on the eastern side of the camp. I've placed two guards on the tent to insure their safety and to prevent them from running." Ren says stepping up to Rune.

Lilith was wearing Ren's large cloak completely covering her smaller body. She wasn't scared.. she was pissed. She too walked up to Rune while saying "If the Troll speaks the truth then I will need to head back with you. They've killed my men.. we need to find out who's behind this." Rune watches her but doesn't say anything. He already had a feeling this was the case when he heard that she had been taken.

"Ren, take Lilith over to the women and children and make sure they're safe and taken care of." I say before looking back at the Troll and what was left of his men. Ren slightly bows and leads Lilith away leaving me and a few shadow guards behind. The Trolls visibly stiffen and for a good reason. My power was seeping out with my anger causing the Trolls to feel death coming for them.
