The Slayer's Anger

"It's not Mavislin's fault that you rebelled against your father to the point of killing him! That's no one's fault but yours! You had a choice, just like everyone else! Why didn't Galahad rebel against the King, knowing King Arthur wasn't human? Why did Tristan leave the Round Table?"

"It was because they chose to stay silent for the sake of the lesser people so that innocent ones won't die because of internal affairs! But no, you, being the brat that you are... You decided to rope in innocent lives because of a temper tantrum, causing an uprising!"

"Don't blame anyone else for the choices you've made in the past! Your regrets are solely based on your decision and no one else's! And if you dare lay a finger on Lady Roydon, I will show you no mercy as the Child of the Constellations, Bastard Child Of King Arthur!" yelled Bryan.

"What do you know of my pain, puny kid?! I died centuries ago... So that's no way you'll know the truth!"

"To hell with what pain you've got back then! And to hell with the truth because you had been fed with lies throughout your life. I know everything about you and your betrayal, the King and her Knights... Because Mavislin told us your stories to preserve the legend of King Arthur!"

"Shut your mouth, you imbecile! You have no clue what I've been through during that war! You weren't even born yet, so don't think to lecture me!"

"No, I will not! And I don't have to be born around your time to understand that what you are doing is unforgivable! So long as your trap continues to blame my boss for something she did not do, I will not shut my mouth against such a being like you!"

"Did you know how often she talked about her adventures with you towards the orphans?!" shouted Bryan, running towards Mordred.

A sudden burst of physical strength rushed through the Slayer's body as he thought back to how guilty Mavislin felt when recalling the Battle Of Camlann. Bryan propelled himself towards the Black Knight, forcing the enemy back with his flurry of attacks.

"Though she never mentioned it out loud, Mavislin always saw you as a sister during the time. However, she knew you would suspect her of being immortal since she was there at the start of King Arthur's reign, so she needed to figure out something to break off the friendship."

"But she was never the one who instigated the rebellion! All Mavislin did was be a close friend and support you in your choice to rebel against the King! She gave you that sword with part of her power embedded inside so you'd have a fighting chance against such a formidable opponent!"

"And now... Are you blaming her for doing so?! Do you know how difficult it is to receive gifts from a Valkyrie?! Mages who have worked their lives off throughout the Universe can't even see the physical form of Valkyrie, let alone receive gifts from the most powerful beings of the Universe!"

"And you are here, complaining about her when she gave you the spell that could sever a planet into two?! You make me sick, Knight of Treachery! If I were you, I would've continued to stay dead, buried with the mistakes and burdens of the past so others would learn from it!"

Mordred was still agitated but understood what Bryan was saying, to the point that she was second-guessing herself. Because, to an extent, the Slayer was spitting out the hard truth. The Black Knight did think of Mavislin as a sister, but... Why was she so angry at her?

Bryan abruptly held up his twin scythes, causing the chains to fly up for a moment. The Slayer's Elemental Aura shined bright, surrounding his body in golden lights. Mordred had no time to think as she faced Bryan's Magecraft and held up her sword to activate her power.

The once-proud member of the Knights of the Round Table has now been turned into a frantic, blackened version, knowing nothing but conflict and pain. So Clarent, the sword of ceremonies, has now turned into an angered piece of weaponry, harboring only resentment and sorrow.

The Slayer did a mess of slashes and strikes in the air in front of him using his scythes, leaving a trail of golden Elemental Energy. All while chanting his first Elemental Spell to pull off against the Black Knight. But Mordred wasn't too far behind with her attack.

The Black Knight held up her sword, with the blade pointed upwards. Two metal plates dislodged from connecting to the base of the blade, unleashing a torrent of black and red Elemental Energy into the skies. Mordred lifted the sword high above her head.
