"Must... Feed... Now!" exclaimed the enemy, rushing towards Mavislin.

But instead of blocking the attack, Mavislin dodged and dived down to Old Man Pond, who had his hands up. The sudden target change shocked me since I thought the enemy was mainly Benjamin.

"You fiend! Let my brother go!" screamed Mavislin, clawing into the Old Man Pond's hands.

"Oh my... Despite those harsh words from earlier, do you still regard this monster as your brother? His head is not his own anymore. He has been a mindless puppet since he entered that camp."

Old Man Pond unleashed two serpents from his hands, making Mavislin back away. The ex-Commander yanked on something, causing Benjamin to move to the side and towards Mavislin. The Corrupted One's body wasn't his anymore as he moved like a ragdoll.

The female Valkyrie was forced to block another random attack by her twin, a round-house kick to the flying punch from the Corrupted One. This act disengaged Mavislin's opponent rather quickly, giving her the chance to maintain a distance from Benjamin.

"That's impossible! You are a Poison; how the hell did you get such a Skill like this?!" yelled Raiyen, which I didn't seem to find within the vision I was looking for.

Ah, since this was a flashback from Raiyen's perspective, I can't see him in the memory. But the man's a good cameraman since he wasn't shaking or reacting too much.

"A Skill like this? Oh, you mean these little chains here? Hoho... I'm shocked that you can see them, Time Boy. Only those who have special eyes can see such things as these chains. I spent years in the mastery of it to fool most Mages. I'll give you a little hint... I learned it from another Mage."

"And it so happens to be a Mage that was sent back to the Time before he had ever existed by a Time Mage's curse. It wasn't you, so you don't have to fret about it. However, I was only taught the Puppetry Skill instead of gaining the Element. I think you're the only one who can see it."

Oops... I wouldn't be so sure about that; Medusa reject. It's not very clear, but once the guy shouts out the name of the spell he uses to control those chains, Vania would be able to make it crystal clear on my screen.

However, mentioning another Mage using this Puppetry Skill piqued my interest.

"There's another Time Mage around with the power to send Mages back in Time? I should go be friends with him," replied Raiyen.

"I believe his name was Marcus something. I didn't bother with the last name. As for the Puppet Master of Briton, he was a fantastic fellow of the Puppetry Element or the Control Element, as most folks would say."

"A great person who loved making toys for children and a side hobby of digging up dead bodies to practice his Magecraft. A wonderful tycoon by the name of Fabian Brookes. It's a shame that he isn't all too powerful, and he can barely do any offensive Spells."

Ah, we must've struck the jackpot with our luck today because we finally found what Element Fabian Brookes uses. And everything seems to fit the bill... Now I hope those dead bodies haven't graduated from living kidnapped people.

But going back to Old Man Pond's word... What special eyes? Are they like Mystic Eyes?

"Notice. Only those who saw their future selves or were involved in an accident regarding the Time Element would have such 'special eyes.' The official term is called 'Arcane Eyes,' and they come in various forms and ranks," explained Vania, showing me an eyeball.

I jolted since I didn't expect the cheeky girl to slap me with a floating eyeball image on my screen: curse, Vania. When you get out again, I will punish you, young lady! And because of the jolt, the real Raiyen whipped his head around so quickly that I thought it would come off.

"Oi, you alright there?" asked the Time Boy.

I nodded and continued watching the characters' conversation. Arcane Eyes... That sound like my Orginal Spell... Is that why I'm able to see the chains faintly? But why would that be the case?

"Notice. Your Original Spell has got nothing to do with the chains. You can see those chains because of their Elemental Energy signatures against the normal atmosphere. Raiyen can see those chains since he has the 'Arcane Eyes Of Time Frames.'"

"These Eyes allows the Time Mage to see the different layers of Time within a single period. So be it a Tick or a Chime, Raiyen can see everything in full detail in those sets of Time Frames. In addition, Raiyen uses these Eyes to see which Frames are safe for him to use for battle."
