It was fun to poke my dead legs and hold them up, only to drop them again. It felt like poking a pile of fats and playing with dead fish. The boy shook his head at my amusement as he sat down and stared at my legs.
"What happened? I've never seen anyone break their legs from throwing a lance before..." questioned the Dementor Pillar, seeing how floppy my legs were.
"Well, I guess there's a first for everything. I think my legs were overworked, so I didn't know they were being stretched to more than what they could handle. It'll be fine; give me some time to rest before returning home. Or, if you are in a rush, you can head off first."
"I'll be chilling over here..." I said, lying down on the ashen floor.
"And leave a maiden all by herself with the company of the dead?! Oh no... That I will not allow!" exclaimed the Ankou, who had switched with Duncan at the last Tick.
The Ankou then used his nails to dig into the earlier shoulder wound, reopening the injury with fresh blood. I was slightly disgusted by sight and looked away.
"Your legs must've been torn apart after trying to perform those moves throughout the Mission... Slash your legs so I can use my Blood Mastery on your severed tendons. Duncan says that you are bleeding on the inside," explained the Ankou.
I was too tired to care and motioned the Ankou to do the honors. Seeing the Blood Mastery in its healing form was quite interesting. Duncan's blood dripped down onto the cut on my legs and turned into threads that sewed the wounds together. I had a visual of the process thanks to Vania.
But as my legs clocked into their shift to work another day, I felt the ominous presence and Aura of our opponent. I whipped my head around, trying to find Fabian. The Ankou grabbed his scythe and slammed it into the ground, sending a deep crack towards the figure in the shadows.
My heart sank as I realized the war was not over yet. I stood up in time to see Fabian emerge from the mist, with half his face being blown off, leaving his skull and pieces of flesh dangling about.
Fabian's face started healing in the most gruesome way possible, with the flesh growing and stretching, fitting to his skull. After that horrific sight was done, the man then stabbed the ground with his giant Lance, screaming angrily before digging his nails into his head.
Blood splattered everywhere as the man went slightly off the wagon. And I thought I was worse with how I was angry at losing a video game... This was a whole 'nother level of a sore loser. I summoned my sword, only to have Vania warn me that I couldn't use my Grand Orders.
Yes... I know... No need to be so flashy about it...
"How could you still be alive?! I... I used Rhongomyniad on two of you! I used the Holy Spear of King Arthur on him, so why are you still alive?! And you... How could you have the power of the Holy Lance by your side when you are nothing but a lowly otherworlder?!"
"Same goes for that Slayer; he survived the Lance before that fox took him away. I thought it was a miscalculation, but it wasn't the case... I hate all of you! Why did you have to destroy my house?! Don't you know how long it took to build this castle? How much trouble it caused me?!"
"Every child buried within the walls and floors was chosen and hand-picked by me because they've seen my lovely Valkyrie... Their eyes were pure, and my goddess had blessed them. And you had to come along and ruin everything! What have I done to deserve this?!" yelled Fabian.
"You deserve everything to be rained down on you! You killed innocent lives to fuel your twisted desire to get close to Mavislin! What kind of sicko are you?!"
"Once I pin you down, I'll castrate you and make sure you can't eat solid food again!" I shouted, closing the distance between Fabian and me.
My sword exploded into colors as I sliced the enemy's arm off, turned around, and thrust my blade into his back. I pulled out the sword and backed up since Fabian grew out another arm. This thing isn't going to work... But how was he able to regrow limbs?
His profile doesn't state anything of any skills relating to regeneration... That's when I heard the air cut from the Ankou dashing past me to reach Fabian. A bright green flash appeared from the corner of my eyes, and I turned to see the enemy sliced horizontally in half by the Ankou.
