Clarent Le Fay, Knight's Remorse

Mordred took a step forward, annihilating the ground before her and bringing down her blade while shouting-

"Clarent Le Fay, Spill the blood of my father! Knight's Revolt!"

"Arcane, Sixth Order: Utopian Fortress!" I yelled, stabbing my sword back into the ground with my best strength.

Like the previous usage, the area surrounding me turned into the white walls of Camelot, and the entire arena shook as the oncoming torrent of black Elemental Energy headed towards the shield. I wasn't sure if it was because I used Galahad's power, but Mordred seemed dazed.

I knew the power of Clarent had already been weakened because it was in Mordred's hands, but it should be this weak. But, no, it was definitely because Mordred wasn't paying close attention to channeling her powers into her spell.

As the clash occurred, it took only half a moment for the light to blind us all and my mirage of the white walls of Camelot to disperse into snow-like dust. Then, when I could see the battlefield again, I saw the saddest posture that I could ever imagine Mordred would be pulling off.

The Knight of Rebellion had entirely accepted her title as the one who killed the King of Britannia when she used her sword in the earlier conflict. She stands in sadness and remorse while looking upwards with her open palms.

She allowed the snowflakes of the broken mirage to land softly on her armored claws before the hunk of metal thoroughly shattered. I was surprised that Mordred had a petite frame since her armor was big and bulky. Red streaks appeared all over her porcelain white skin.

Despite being a Knight, Mordred's outfit was quite revealing as only a black strip of cloth with red ribbons covered her bosom, and half sleeves adorned her arms. Additionally, she wore black knee-length boots and a few pieces of black leather to protect her womanhood.

She wore a black choker with a single red ribbon in the middle. All in all, the outfit left Mordred's shoulders, belly, and collarbone area exposed. I could see that Tomoe was intrigued with the garb in the corner of my eye, but I quickly nudged him using my elbow.

"Ow! What was that for?!" complained the Kitsune.

"Stop staring at her! I think something is wrong..." I murmured as I could not take my eyes off the Knight of Rebellion.

The Black Knight then glanced back down onto her palms and balled up her fists. I inched closer to see if she was alright, and I could see something surrounding her neck. It was faint, but my vision was similar to a game screen. It caused a sharp contrast to its surrounding.

Like how Wind attacks wouldn't show up to the naked eye, they are evident in my vision. The things surrounding Mordred's neck were like chains of sorts, and they shimmered in and out of existence.

"Camelot... Galahad... Merlin..." muttered Mordred as she buried her face into her palms.

The Black Knight's body shook as she whispered some more words and names. Finally, when she started tearing her hair off, I decided to step in and save the poor thing. The Black Knight might be an enemy, but it would seem that she was more than a typical villain.

"It wasn't my fault... I swear, I never meant for the destruction of Camelot... It was his doing! My name is Mordred... And I am not the one who killed my father... I only wanted... Merlin, you will pay for giving me this body..." muttered the Black Knight, still freaking out.

"Oi! Are you alright?" I shouted, trying to get near to the Black Knight.

"How... Did you... Use that spell? Why do you have the Shield of the Round Table when you are merely a human Mage?!" asked Mordred, trying to claw her eyes out.

Tomoe instantly shot out his arm to prevent me from stepping closer to the crazed Black Knight. I may still be armed with my gear, but I had placed my sword away. However, the Kitsune's katana was still out, and he took an attacking stance, aiming for Mordred's head.

As an agent to kill, this was the perfect time for me to take down my enemy. But I'm no longer in my old world, and it wasn't my style to attack people when they were mentally disturbed. If what she said was the truth... Then I won't kill her as of yet.

It's not as if it would be an easy task.

"Not to mention that it needs a high-ranking Mage to wield such a prominent weapon of the Knights of the Round Table. That Galahad may be the youngest of us, but he was still a powerful person... So how could the likes of you wield his weapon?!"
