The Cat and The Gift Box
I decided it was time to open the Lucky box, I wasn't ready for bed yet.

As I had time to myself, and my roommate's weren't present I decided to open the box. Jumping into a unused bed in the corner and Pulling the box out of my inventory a new screen appears in front of me with one word.
[Open]
Clicking open The box shine's a golden color before dissipating. What's left behind is a small kitten plushy with a suspicious name when I put it in my inventory.
[Kitten Doll???]
Suddenly I receive another notification

Congratulations you have a plushy kitten, Adorable right? Now why don't you give it a name? Don't worry it's not weird little girls do it all the time - Clover

' that's not suspicious at all' I think, my mind filled with overwhelming sarcasm 'And what kind of Rewards are "A gift" and "A supprise"?' Deciding not to question it too much further as the one who put me in this world is responsible, and further questions would just lead to a headache, I try to come up with a good name.
Though I acted like it was a trivial thing at first, I wanted a good name for this Kitten. Looking at the little plushy, I notice it seems very realistic except for a few minor details, for example the eyes which were obviously small black beads. It's mostlybBlack with a white belly, stretching up to the bottom of it's throat. Thinking of a cookie from my old world, I chuckle to myself saying "oreo" reminiscing about the black and white cookie.

Then I see the kitten twitch as a small box, appeared in front of me. Unexpectedly, I hear a voice in my head and the cat plushy jumped up onto my face hugging me.
' Mommy!' echo's in my mid for a bit, as I stare at the now animated plushy that is sitting in front of me, its tail flowing from side to side.
" What?" was all I could manage to say. I feel that I have done a good job keeping calm in all the weird that's happened around me thus far. I took the system and magic like a champ and waking up in a forest, being a girl, they were a little harder but I'm still managing, however a small stuffed animal calling me mother had done it.
' What's wrong mommy' I hear the voice again, it reminded me of clovers voice since I could tell no noise was made but I still heard the voice the pitch was off though.
" Who are you?" I ask, assuming the voice in my head is the stuffed animal in front of me, denying the chance I had finally lost it.
'You already forgot? I'm Oreo!' the kitten then moved onto my lap " Don't Tell me you forgot about me as my brothers?"
' There's more of you!?' I couldn't help but wonder what I did to have a collection of plushy kittens start calling me mom.
" Of course I haven't." I lie, pretending I remember, which luckily worked better than the last time I attempted to lie to someone.
' Well that's good, I never got to thank you for what you did for my brother, I never would have thought that someone would die to help any of us live, but you were always kind to us" That's when it clicked, the Little Cat plush in front of me was the little cat that had also died that day. It had to have been. There was no other explanation that would make sense, not that this one does.
" Don't Mention it, I was waiting for my misfortune to end me in my last life, just glad I could help someone before I died. I have another chance to live too, so I don't want to think too much about my last life, if you don't mind." I tell Oreo
' Okay' Oreo said as he finally curled into a ball in my lap
"Why are you here?" I ask "If you died wouldn't you have reincarnated, I thought that's how it worked for all creatures? Rather that's what I was told."
'Typically it is, I think, but I wanted to thank you before I moved on and That's when I met clover. I saw a light and a voice pulled me towards it but I wanted to thank you so I tried to find you first. That's when I found a clover, He told me you had just been with him and were here now. He told me he could help me meet you again, so I asked him if he would mind. He asked If I had anything I wanted in the next life, I first asked if there was a way for him to help my brothers, he said he would watch over them, but couldn't really interfere. I decided I wanted to help you instead because you did what I couldn't, save my brother. I wanted to help you in any way I could since you saved something I value more than my life. Clover smiled when I told him this and informed me he would do his best. My vision turned black and I found myself here.' Oreo Was looking into my eyes when he says that, which was somewhat weird seeing as they were small black glass eyeballs.
I start to tear up " You gave your chance at a content happy life to help me? I only saved your brother because I didn't want to lose anything else that was mine, I saved him purely out of greed, I'm not worth your praise or future." A my voice starts to get quieter at the end, and begin whimpering as I try to stop the tears
' Say whatever you want it doesn't change you were there for us, you saved my brother and it was my decision to come.' He puts his paws on my shoulders and I hug him tightly as I lay down, today had been a long day.
~ Oreo's POV~
'She's finally asleep' I thought to myself as I gently squirm my way out of her grasp, I move to the foot of the bed where a little box lied
' She didn't even open my gift' I thought ' Well we were a little distracted' I move the box beside the pillow Michael was sleeping on
' I guess it's Alice now though' I smile while seeing her sleep ' much better than when you crying'
I yawn and walk back to my previous place to fulfill my job as a plush when the door to the room opens
I hear two tired voices enter the room
" I have never stayed up this late in my life" one of the girls say before some creaks and ruffling noises start from her direction
The other voice was more straightforward
" Ugh, I'm so tired, Fuck it." and a thump is heard before some light snoring
' that's one way to go out' I though, I was facing Alice so I couldn't see the girls only from their voices and the extra noise could I tell what they were doing.
' Hehe, goodnight Caroline." I hear from the original voice, who sounded just as tired.
Silence ensues, and I decide I too should get some rest. Sleeping soundly and safely for the first time in my life I thank whoever brought me and this wonderful person beside me together
~ The Next Morning (Alice POV)~
Waking up the following day I stretch a little as my eyes adjust to the light. it was still dark rays of light barely visible over the horizon.
' Morning little sister ' I hear in my head looking behind me I see Oreo laying on the pillow with his tail on top of a box.
" Yesterday it was mom now little sister. why do you call me that? hm, what's that box?" I ask. New day, more questions.
' It hasn't been five minutes and your already asking questions? Fair enough. For your first question, I used to see you as a parent, an individual who had everything and could help me and my brothers, now I see where the same outcasts of society, strays, and I never had a sister. I'll stop if you don't like it'
" No it's fine" I reply, I felt uncomfortable when I was called mom, I had adjusted to being a girl for the most part, but mom was another thing, a problem for the future, also I have bad memories of my parents, my siblings however, are things I have always loved even though I've never had a brother I would love to have one as reliable and lovely as this courageous kitten.
' About the box, it was a gift I brought for you. You didn't get the chance to open it last night because of reasons. I have no idea what it is though. Clover gave it to me and said it was something I could give you to say thank you and as an apology from him. He didn't intend on you being a girl.'
" Thank you, I'll open it right now, also sorry about last night. I seem to be more emotionally unstable now that I'm a kid." I was slightly embarrassed about what transpired last night but I think Oreo understood, I couldn't tell though because animals don't typically make many distinguishable facial expressions let alone stuffed ones.
I take the box and open it, inside I find two little knickknacks one was a small ear ring it fit nicely around my ear and had a small bulb of a flower like a bracelet, but it was way too bit for my wrist. The other was a small triangular price with a circle around the center looking back inside the box I see a letter that reads
" Hello Alice how are you doing? I am sorry (Somewhat) for your current conditions I planned for you to be a boy when you arrived but a unforseen change caused your gender to flip when you body was created, again Sorry. I did have the opportunity to fix it but didn't because it may have effected other aspects I wouldn't want changing and I like it better this way anyways, it more exciting. I suppose I didn't properly prepare you however. I tried to help with the name but looking back it was kinda a bad move on my part. Anyways a certain kitten friend found me somehow in the mystic so I decided to Grant him a wish, The contents of this box is a gift from him and a gift from me. They work simply, First put them in you system so they can do their magic then the system will explain the rest. - Your gracious benefactor Clover "
" I can't complain really I've enjoyed myself so far. I wonder how bad the errors could have been? Is it even ok for me to be pissed at him he seems to be trying albeit not that hard but still. Whatever let's not get emotional now I just woke up." I murmur to myself. I place the objects onto the system. Opening the Inventory I see two mini pixelized versions of the trinkets and a word list of the items in my inventory
