Chapter 1

As Wang Yue watched the anime playing on the computer in front of him, he sighed. It was a scene depicting the death of Uchiha Fugaku, the dignified Uchiha patriarch and the first clan of Konoha, who tragically met his end at the hands of his own son.

Fugaku had completed his son's transformation but had ultimately buried his clan. Wang Yue couldn't help but lament the failure of Uchiha Fugaku as both a father and a patriarch. The Uchiha Clan, with its rich history and powerful Sharingan, now had only Sasuke left as its sole survivor.

Lost in his thoughts, Wang Yue eventually turned off the computer. The sky outside was dim, with dark clouds covering the heavens. A cool breeze blew in through the open window, creating a sombre atmosphere.

Feeling a sense of unease, Wang Yue suddenly became more alert. After taking a shower, he lay down on his bed and slowly drifted off to sleep.

In the middle of the night, Wang Yue's consciousness abruptly awakened. He tried to get out of bed but found his body immobile. It felt as if his consciousness was sinking endlessly, plunging into an abyss of darkness and chaos.

As he tried to open his eyes, all he could perceive was a terrifying darkness that threatened to engulf him completely.

Drawing from his past experiences with sleep paralysis, Wang Yue focused his consciousness, attempting to move his finger to break free from the paralysis. He knew that once he could move a single part of his body, the rest would gradually follow.

Suddenly, a sharp pain shot through Wang Yue's brain as if someone else was drilling into his head. The agony felt as if two minds were being compressed into one.

This was unlike any abnormal brain pain he had ever experienced during sleep paralysis. Wang Yue's clothes became drenched with sweat, his mind filled with a whirlwind of fantasies and countless images flashing before his eyes.

These images were bizarre and disjointed, lacking any logic. They raced through his mind like a rapid slideshow, preventing him from focusing on their content due to the dull ache in his brain.

Terrified, Wang Yue became completely unaware of his current situation. He feared that if he succumbed to the abyss, he would meet his true demise.

However, the intense pain in his head did not last long. It gradually subsided, and the sense of falling came to a halt. Wang Yue felt a sense of relief as his body relaxed, exhaustion washing over him. Sleepiness overtook him once again, and he drifted back to sleep.

Unbeknownst to Wang Yue, he failed to realize that the place where he slept was no longer his familiar world.

Early in the morning, Wang Yue furrowed his brow in his sleep and eventually opened his eyes. He stared at a plain white ceiling with a simple light bulb hanging from it, devoid of any intricate design.

Glancing around the room, he noticed the typical Japanese-style layout. His body felt heavy, possibly due to the events of the previous night, preventing his body from fully recovering.

He raised his hands and took a glance at them, only to realize that they were completely different from his own rough, aged hands. A wave of dizziness mixed with pain washed over Wang Yue's head.

Clutching his head, he tried to alleviate the ache by patting it several times. As he shook his throbbing head, a set of memories that did not belong to him suddenly flooded his mind.

Uchiha Fugaku, a member of the Uchiha Clan, his father being Uchiha Tenjō, the current patriarch of the Uchiha Clan, and the captain of Konoha's Military Police Force
