Reborn As An Extra In A Cultivation World

The first years were hard due to my infant brain being overwhelmed with my young adult experiences but I managed. Though I was nearly kicked out of the family when I was seven years old, I'm still here. Not that I'm a mischief but since my prominent clan is a bigshot amongst cultivation families, I was nearly deemed untalented and kicked out.

Anyway, I -just like my older siblings- went through such a ridiculous tutoring regimen that also included most of the general cultivation techniques. Thankfully being a cultivation family off-spring with a bloodline literally makes you a super-soldier. If not I would have to wait till the Qi Infusion stage to actually learn all this stuff.

Now that I mentioned it, there are several cultivation realms and stages in those realms. Quite the complicated stuff, making me dread even more the fact that I didn't even read the prologue where all of it is explained!

When I was busy daydreaming the door to my room knocked.

"Young Master Axel, patriarch summons you."

"Thanks, old man Lin, I will be there after I wash up." Old man Lin is one of the stewards in the Lin family, getting the Lin surname due to his contributions. He was originally my mother's guard but he became a steward of Lin's after her death.

While diving into the bath pool that servants readied, I thought about my mother who died because of my reincarnation. It's not like I miss someone I have never interacted with or lack their presence in my life, mind you I had all the familial love I could get in my previous life already so there was no need for parents too. My father thought the same it seemed...

Being a reincarnator in a cultivation world is both a big deal and also not; in the upper realm, there are perverts who take pleasure from cultivation from scratch in the lower plane with reincarnating and slapping faces till they ascend again. Mine is a bit different but most of the same practices apply, thus I was born with a strong soul that would normally be great as a strong soul would pull your cultivation to itself, hastening it without any side effects. Mine could be like that if it wasn't enhanced by the Lin's bloodline. Due to that, my soul was so strong my body couldn't bear it and I would not be able to cultivate normally.

After knocking on the door, I waited for the patriarch's permission to get in.

"Come in." A cold voice flashed in my head.

"Greetings to the patriarch." 'Yuck.'

"Today I called you because of your admittance to Clear Sky Institute. You will move out in three months to prove yourself there as per family traditions." This father of mine still doesn't want to talk to me I guess. 'How petty you can be when you are the one who couldn't keep it in your pants?'

"As you wish, patriarch."

"Don't be conceited, if it were up to me I wouldn't have allowed a trash who can't even cultivate to go there and tarnish the Lin surname."

"I can't cultivate before I cultivate my body, not that I'm trash-"

"Presumptuous! Who taught you to talk back? Get out right this instant!"

I got out of the room before he expelled me from the clan in his rage. Seriously what does he eat to be so quick to get angry?

'It's not my fault that a peak golden core couldn't save a mortal woman.'

"Oh old man Lin, you are here, good. Prepare a 3rd grade Blood Invigoration Pill and a medicinal bath using a 4th rank Howling Mole's blood and spiritual plants that have destruction and healing properties. We are accelerating the plan." I said to old man Lin who was waiting outside.

"Of course, young master."

The plan I mentioned is not something grand, merely body cultivation. As my soul was strong enough to severely wound my mother during my birth, it is also strong enough to shatter my body if I try Qi cultivation. Normally a strong soul would not be a hindrance but with Lin's bloodline enhancing it, if I were to cultivate Qi, my meridians would rip, flesh torn and Dantian shatter. That's why I'm unable to cultivate at this moment. It's not like I'm trash but that manchild still thinks so.

"Oh? If it isn't Mr Excellent, what do we owe the honour?"

Golden Sparkle Body is a body cultivation technique that goes until Core Formation equivalent, perfectly matching my dual Metal and Lightning dual roots. Lin Clan is an ancient cultivation family that has been around for many millennia, and they have engineered their blood so clan members will be born well-suited to Clan's secret technique, which means they mostly have a metal root and a bloodline. On rare occasions, there are people born with irregular roots like my lightning roots.
