Till we meet again

After finishing his cultivation Pei jin just sat in the rattan chair looking towards from waterfall where his heart and soul was.

From morning to late night, hoping she would come out that very day. He was able to completely master his primordial art in five months and from then it has been two weeks he started to wait upon her.

As he had just grabbed a dish to eat, he saw Yusheng 30 steps far from him, in the blink of an eye he had hugged her so tightly. His entire body was shaking with excitement.

Yusheng was shocked at his abrupt behavior and speed. But still felt that warm fuzzy feeling of being received and loved.

You have returned... then slightly scrunching his nose.. you drank wine???

Yes and no. Yusheng became self conscious at being pointed out so she sniffed her arms, there was a very faint smell of wine lingering in her body.

Yusheng was feeling all fuzzy and warm like snuggling into a warm blanket during winter, just yesterday she had merely mentioned about it and today it was before her eyes and of the highest quality..with a smile she took it.

At the beginning he was haughty as usual curling his lips towards pei jin and Tao while nestling beside Yusheng.

He would act like a small cub pulling Yusheng's sleeve and skirt asking for her attention, lower and burrow his head in her palms asking for head pats, stretching his big body asking for scratch and so on.

But nowadays he would only sit beside her without doing anything, whenever pei jin was beside he would turn his big head behind her back.

Little did she know seeing him acting cozy infront of his eyes, Pei Jin had wanted to kill him so many times. But lucky for him to have a blood pact if not definitely would have turned into a coat or a foot mat.

Pei jin when found that it also slept in the same room with Yusheng he became livid so one time he kidnapped yes kidnapped bao to far deep inside the forest where he was ruthlessly beaten and threatened not to act all chummy and cuddly with Yusheng.

From then on he had deep hatred and fear for Pei Jin. Pei Jin at the side was giving a stinky eye from time to time.. hmm not enough.. still sticks like glue.. needs one more lesson was what he was thinking.

Tao was first scared to the point of forgetting to breathe when he saw bao for the first time. Then would feel his bone rattling whenever bao would curl his lips and glared at him so when it was beaten by his master he was very happy. But now he felt pity for it, seeing how his master would give that same stinky cold eye he even felt bao as a companion forced to eat dog food everyday from afar all trembling.

Tao could feel their relation becoming more stronger and smooth everyday. Not only him everyone in the medicine valley had sniffed the air of romance specially oozing from qinwang. Though there was a gap of age still somehow it felt right, their compatibility was good. He now was 200 percent sure that she would be their qinwang fei and empress in the future.

Like this they reached the day of parting, today Pei Jin was leaving for capital. They stood at the exit, behind them was Tao waiting nearby the carriage. They seemed to have many words to say yet were silent.

Finally, Yusheng looked up meeting his eyes and with her radiant face warm eyes and gentle smile she said ..Till we meet again.. no sappy words but a promise that they will meet again.

Pei Jin no longer able to hold himself hugged her tightly, feeling her, her warmth, her smell, her every expressions engraved in his mind. Then after he gently kissed her small forhead.. caressing her face and gentle smile, love and adoration filled eyes he similarly replied.. Till we meet again..

Both as if having practiced turned their backs at each other to go their own way, several times both had, that want to turn back but neither did.. hidden in their sleeves each had their hand fisted, each step made their heart ache but still they moved on steadily and step by step left till there was just trees, silence and breeze with leaves falling now and then.
