Rebirth: Ditto Time

Ugh, where am I? Last thing I remember is sleeping after playing Pokemon Soul Sliver on my emulator. I just beat Red on Mt. Silver. My name isn't important but I was a hunter. I hunted animals for food and hunted humans for money. I only took jobs that involved killing corrupt or 'evil' people. Books and games were my passion, particuly fantasy or fiction books. You get to be a different person while reading the book and experience adventures, especially pokemon. Pokemon seemed to be childish and it is, but growing with your pokemon and defeating others was my goal in the games.

I open my eyes but they feel different. When I fully open them, I see several man and women in lab coats. The room is filled to the brim with machinery I haven't seen before and only a couple light bulbs and a window.

Wait, am I a goddamn experiment! I open my eyes and look at my new body. I am inside a neon liquid and my body looks like light blue pudding.

I see a big red R on the lab coats... What the hell!! Am I dreaming! Are they cosplaying, if so then it is very convincing.

No...

Nooo.

NOOOOOO!!!!

I am a god damn Ditto! And I am in the pokemon universe! What kind of bullshit is this!

Let's calm down and think about this. So, I am a ditto, this is good. I could be a Sunkern so this is good. Ditto has DNA of all of the pokemon due to Mew, but it is unstable so it's defult form is just a purple blob so it was deemed a failure. Due to my body being light blue, I am a shiny Ditto and this fact will do me more bad than good. First step, get out of the lab. I need to look out for the schedule of the scientists for the whole day.

At night is where the scientists are most active and around the day is where only 1 scientist is keeping watch on me. This is the time. I tried to transform into a Gastly but that failed. I don't know why though, maybe due to my lack of experience.

I think of Aegislash and try to transform my right side into the sword. Suddenly, a sword with a handle appeared from my right side. It was bronze and sharp, I usual eye was closed because no soul was in it. I looked at the sleeping scientist who had only one pokeball on him.

I slashed through the container and all of the liquad falls, my body congeals together and merge. I look at the scientist who had just woken up and was holding the pokeball.

"What the hell?"

The scientists exclaimed. I jump towards the scientist in an effort to slash him but my movements were sluggish and he ran to the door. He threw out the pokeball and a Zubat came out. I ready my sword and get ready. The Zubat tries to fly towards me a bite me but little did it know that my sword is bigger then his whole body length. I stab the Zubat and I kill it.

Now this is some bullshit, but I quickly slash the door to get out of the room. I look around and I see numerous doors and an exit door with Rocket Grunts guarding the exit.

"What in the world is that?"

"I don't Grant!"

I pity them. Seeing my sword, they brought out a Volturb and Grimer.

"Grimer, Pound!"

"Volturb, Tackle!"

Grimer rushes towards me at a slow rate but Volturb fast as hell. It rolls and tries to tackle me but I overhead slashed at it. He falls back with a deep wound and I lunge forward to stab the Volturb.

I look to see the Grimer try to engulf me with its sludge like body. I slash it but it falls back and releases out a poison gas.

"Grimer, use Tackle!"

The pokemon tries to ram me but I slash it with a vertical swing and its died. That was anti-climatic, but no time to waste. I look to see the Grunts pushing each other to the exit, I float aggresively towards them and kill them.

The corpse of the grunts and pokemon are still not cleaned up.

"RING RING RING! Alert! Subject 420/69 has gone loose! Secure the specimen!>

I need to go! The exit is right there! A metal curtain suddenly begins to close, its due to the alarm. With wind rushing from the edges of my jelly like frame, I rush towards the bright red exit door which was being slowly encased in a metal shell. I undo my sword because it was useless, and I made my body flat while sliding under the door. The bright outside is blinding due to being couped inside the lab for a day. I run and run until my little jellies hurt. I look around and take in the view knowing I am face.

I look at the familiar yet unfamilar yellow sun that I am currently under. After a few minutes of me sunbathing, I look at a sign on the road I was sitting on that is somehow written in English, isn't it supposed to be in a language I need to learn? Meh, more convenience for me I guess.
