Everyone was silent for a moment, with their eyes on Evan and Rose. It made Rose feel awkward and uncomfortable with their gazes.
Rose brought her head closer to Evan and whispered, "Hubby! Why did you tell them about that? You should not!" Her voice was low, but Evan sensed his wife was angry. "Look… what have you done? My mother and your mother are now disappointed. You don't have to tell them about it, do you!? Now, I don't know what to say to them…."
Evan realized his mistake. But now, he couldn't do anything about it. Their parents already knew. All he could do now was shut up his mouth tightly and say nothing more, afraid he would upset his wife and parents.
