Liu Guanyi closed his eyes again as he became floating still underwater.

And the three major parts were still separated into many parts that had their own function and job, forebrain consisted of the cerebrum, hypothalamus, and thalamus.

Midbrain consisted of the tectum and tegmentum.

And hindbrain consisted of the cerebellum, medulla, and pons.

Refining the brain started from breaking one of these brain parts' cells to remake it better, then after finishing with it, move on to the other part and so on. But in the end, after refining all of them, a Martial Practitioner had to create a network that connected all of them using the inner energy.

Since it wasn't just a simple process of breaking down the cells and remaking them anew, establishing the inner energy network in the brain was so much harder, especially since the brain was a complex organ and it was still fragile after being refined.

To create the network, a Martial Practitioner had to be extra careful and do the process extremely steadily as the stake was extremely big.

Since every single part of his body was already refined with the inner energy, Liu Guanyi had no longer needed to supply the inner energy from his heart and moved it through the blood vessel to the brain for the process.

The process was moving slowly as Liu Guanyi carefully and steadily operated his inner energy to avoid any mistakes. He calmly supplied more and more inner energy to build the network as the little strands began to become bigger and solid as each of their connection started to develop.

When the process had reached past the beginning process, the pace to create the network began to pick up as it became easier and smoother for Liu Guanyi to control.

However, after around an hour, a part of his brain suddenly started to bleed as it couldn't handle the pressure from the strands of inner energy that passed through it.

Sensing this, Liu Guanyi reacted quickly as he decreased the intensity of the flow of the inner energy and expended some of it to recuperate the wound as fast as possible.

After a few seconds, the wound had closed up and everything had turned well.

Before Liu Guanyi resumed back to the previous pace, however.

He flowed some of the inner energy to the previously wounded part from the heart to reinforce it. Doing one more task was still acceptable for him so it didn't bother him much.

After that, nothing seemed to be out of order and Liu Guanyi could calmly proceed with the last stage of the Nascent Warrior as his body kept floating underwater in a lotus position while withstanding more than a dozen tons of weight.

Finally, after spending a lot of concentration, effort, and inner energy for more than three hours, Liu Guanyi felt a click within his head as he suddenly felt a refreshing and cooling sensation in every part of his body, especially his head.

Those pleasant sensations overwhelmed him as Liu Guanyi felt that his body had become extremely light and his mind extremely clear.

He felt that he could just fly, thought of the solution to any problem, and solve even the most complicated riddle effortlessly.
