Alex looked at Ale like he was looking at his savior.
Ale, burdened by the sudden change in his attitude, leaned back as far as he could on his chair and sipped on his tea.
Xion, witnessing the whole scene and realising what was happening, pretended not to be interested and focused on his book instead.
But they were all wrong about one thing. Alex's headache hadn't cured yet. The only reason it disappeared was because he was in close vicinity to Ale.
It'll take them a while to figure out the truth. But for now, everyone was happy and satisfied with the current situation.
"So.. As I was saying before..."
"I'll go."
Before Ale could even finish his sentence, Alex agreed to go with him. Although he had risked a lot up until that point just to get away from his family and the country, even he knew that it wasn't the best solution.
"And I want you to-"
"I'll do it. Whatever you want me to, Young Master Ale."
