While busy typing her report document inside her room back in the orphanage, her Rotom-Phone suddenly rings violently. At first she ceased to notice it but after being irked past her limits she decided to answer the detective's call.
She lets out a huge yawn then utters, "Good evening detective. May I be of assistance?" queries, Jenny.
"Not now. It looks like we're going up against a lot of problems in the Hoenn Region. I interviewed the professor, and she said something about organizations using serums to brainwash people. The thing is, she mentioned two. According to her as well, she hypothesizes the awakening of the titans."
"The titans? Wasn't that a myth?"
"I know. It's either the professor is telling a truth or perhaps her words were nothing but red herrings. I still need to confirm her claim so I called Steven Stone."
"Steven Stone?" Jenny types the name to her laptop and searches more about the man.
"According to the media, Steven Stone is known as the great champion of Hoenn."
"Indeed you are correct. I've informed him about this and he said he will be traveling to Sootopolis city to investigate this further. Also, there have been reports about an earthquake under the ocean."
"An Earthquake? Now that is something that doesn't happen usually," says Jenny, fact-checking the detective's words through the online news.
"I want you to investigate this as well and hunt down these two organizations. According to my spies, they have been classified as B+ criminal organizations and I plan to commence a conference about the gathered data. They call themselves the savior of the land and sea."
"Sounds outlandish."
"If you were to ask me, I fear a terrible chaos is about fall under Hoenn. Even more terrible than the one Johto experienced. But who knows? Maybe there will be some twists."
"Alright detective, I'll investigate." Jenny volunteers, uttering her words in a determined manner.
"I also want you to keep a close eye on Team Rocket. I heard they also have a branch in the Hoenn Region."
"Good grief?! I can't handle three organizations at a time."
"Please Jenny. You will be escorted by the Hoenn branch of the Pokemon International Police. We haven't even apprehended Luna Evergreen yet."
"I will see what I can do, but there will be no guarantees that I will be able to stop them."
"Alright. Good night Jenny." The detective greets and declines the call.
Such anger bursts out of Jenny's body after the call to the point she threw her Rotom-Phone to the mirror of her room. With rage, she throws all of her pillows caught by her eyes.
"So many." She mumbles with stress, tightening the grip on her hair.
"I never knew mother's job would be this stressful." She adds as her lungs beg desperately for oxygen.
Moments later, her tears fall off her face as she grabs her Rotom-Phone in the ground. A large crack was present. It is at that moment when Jenny regretted throwing her phone. Even with a crack, the phone is still under a good condition with the system still working.
She opens her gallery, and there she glanced upon the portrait of her family. She, her mother and father, and her sister, all smiling with joy and ecstasy. Jenny was young during the time that photo was taken, and she pleads for everything to be undone, to return to that same very moment.
"If only you were here mother." She wishes softly, placing her phone on her chest and hugging it tightly.
Out of nowhere, a memory pops right unto her mind. "Wait a minute. Luna... and Team Rocket were wearing black outfits all along which means..." She takes a deep breath and continues, "The grunt with a red outfit does not belong to Team Rocket therefore it wasn't them who murdered my family."
"It... It had an M on his outfit." Quickly, she rushes to her laptop and starts to do a pinch of research. She searched, "Team M" and the results were shocking. All that appeared from her search are news about a newly discovered organization. Still, a newly discovered organization does not mean it has recently formed. Perhaps a witness saw them somewhere and decided to report it to the authorities.
"There!" She yells with relief, pointing at the outfit worn by the organization who've killed her family.
She runs to her desk, sliding all the books and papers off and grabbing a new one alongside with a ball-pen. Her clouded mind clears from time to time as she further writes on the paper.
"Who is to blame for the death of my family? T- Team M-" She says softly to not awaken the sleeping children beside her room. She then circles the organization's name written on her paper.
"I've been working for the detective for so long now, solving mysteries and puzzles for him. It is time to focus on my case."
