Safari Zone

Aoki had two days of time to get some stuff done.

First was saying a proper goodbye to his friends. Since his identity was revealed their interaction became a bit awkward.

It was expected since it was a big thing for people like Jill to take.

Ash and the others would stay for a few days as Ash has his gym match and Brock and Daisy have their breeder exams.

Their next target would be the Cinnabar islands which Aoki would have gone to if not for the tournament.

Alex and Jill left through the morning flight that day itself as Alex had his gym duties.

Jill has collected the badges required for the Indigo league so she will be training for the rest of her time with Alex.

Now with that out the way, Aoki and Misty visited the place they were excited to visit since their arrival in the city.

The Safari Zone.

The cost for entering the Safari zone was 80k Pokedollars.

The maximum number of Pokemon he could capture was 30 and a person could enter only once a year.

As per the rules, they can only take one Pokemon with them and only catch Pokemon with the Safari Balls provided.

The total time they could stay there was 4 hours after which they will be teleported back to the entrance.

Psychic and Ghost Pokemon were not allowed inside and finally no killing or severely injuring a Pokemon.

Aoki took his Clefable while Misty took her Azumaril.

"Let's separate our ways and look for the Pokemon we like. I am going to the lake to search for Dratiny " Misty said.

Aoki had heard rumors of Dratiny being found in the Safari zone but it's most likely false.

'Hey Darkrai you know about Dratiny right ?'

[Yes, I have seen the picture in your Pokedex]

'Please see if you can find one '

[Sure]

"Let's go Clefalbe. Use your gravity powers to make us go faster "

[Let's go !!] Clefable seemed quite happy to travel in the Safari zone.

For the next few hours, Aoki surveyed the important parts of the Safari zone and captured some Pokemon that would help him in the future.

He captured a few Eevee for his research on Fairy type and one for Misty as she wanted a Vaporeon in the future.

Next was seven Chansey, whom Clefable convinced to join him.

Aoki will teach them cooking and basic caretaking skills to help his other Pokemon.

These Pokemon have very good healing abilities, have very good gravity control, and produce special eggs that give a lot of nutrition.

Chansey as a species were very caring and kind Pokemon so they agreed to Aoki's proposal.

Next Aoki captured a Rhydon, Rhyhorn from the grassland area, and two Electabuzz and a Magnemite, a Mageton from the power plant area, two Slowpokes from the river area.

All these Pokemon were in the intermediate or junior stage so Aoki has to train them to a level before starting his research on them.

Aoki also found a Gastly in an underground cave.

Finally, he captured an Abra which would have been very hard to catch without Clefable's gravity.

This was a Pokemon he was personally going to train as teleport was a very handy feature.

Moreover, he had the mega stone for Alakazam which he might use in the future.

He captured some fighting-type Pokemon like Machoke and Machop as they would be great for construction and physical fights.

At one part of the grassland, he saw a large herd of Tauros which reminded him of the episode from the anime featuring the Safari zone.

All these Pokemon that he captured will stay and live in the Darkrai's space.

Aoki will not be using them for battle.

Currently, he has a level of strength that can be considered very strong so he will only add Pokemon to his team that he considers worth it like Pseudo Legendaries or legendaries.

While he was traveling across the Safari zone, he sneaked out Celebi who took some seeds and fruits of tasty berries for her forest as well as Darkrai's dimension.

Aoki had asked Celebi multiple times to join his party, but Celebi had no wish to fight and liked its peaceful life.

During that Darkrai returned with the news that he didn't find any Dratini or similar-looking Pokemon in the Safari zone.

Finally, their time was over and both of them found themselves at the reception where they collected their captured Pokemon.

"Whao! You captured 20 Pokemon. Are you going to train them? " Misty asked.

"For now they are going to Professor Oak's Lab. I will decide what to do with them later on " Aoki said.

"What did you catch Misty? "

"I captured a Poliwag as I wanted a Poliwrath, a Wooper that I found in the swamp region, and a Tentacool that I found in the saltwater region.

I will be sending them back to my Sisters to take care of them for now till the Indigo league is finished. "

"Here send them one Eevee too " Aoki tossed her a Safari ball.

"You captured one? Thank you so much.

I searched so much but I didn't find a single one "

In the evening, Aoki gave a short visit to the back market to sell some of the gold and search for any rare resources.

At night they meet up with Sabrina who was gone for the day because of some work.

The next day they mostly visited the places famous in the City that Aoki didn't get time to visit earlier.

Sabrina was familiar with the city so she became their guide.

They enjoyed themselves and restocked some things for their three-week trip to Unova.

In the night they met with Agatha for their final planning before the trip.
