chapter 14: Entrance exam

It's been 2 years since the rescue incident, I'm 15 y.o. now, there is 3 more months till entrance exam. There hasn't been a lot of things that happened during these two years. It just involved some training and learning some new stuff, like Sword fighting. I'm huge fan of swords , I really wanted to learn how to fight with swords and make a slash that could spilt a mountain in half.

I'm nowhere near that realm, I'm just practising katas for now. I could win a lot of opponents with my power but with pure sword techniques, it's difficult. It'll take atleast 3-4 more years for me to use a sword to fight because I have reached a power level where I can just punch and break a building. So it'll take a long time for me to bring my swordsmanship to that level.

I have had a huge break through in both observation and armament haki. I now have total and complete sense over 30 meters and I don't have to concentrate much. It's become a part of my senses. And about armament haki, I think I have a talent for this or because of my strong physique i have reached a level where I can ignore the Armor or outer defense and directly attack the insides. Wow that was OP when I used it. Sometime ago I started practicing my punches and kicks with steel pillars because punching bags have become redundant to me.

When I used my ryou, I think that's what they called it in the anime, I totally forgot what the naming was and I forgot a lot of character names. I even forgot a lot of characters in mha except for some important and some characters I like. God, I wish I had perfect memory or something, I'm not an ultra genius who could just waltz through all the course. I have a good memory and good assessment of said memories.

My quirk also become very powerful and I have become proficient in using it. Now if I slightly increase the heat of my flames and fly into a building or even a steel plate I can just melt it and pass through in one swift motion. It in itself became a killer move, I don't have the draw back of usual quirk users with fire quirk. My body doesn't heat up when I use my flames. My whole body is made up of flames, even before and after transformation. If I couldn't hold my heat ( that sounds weird for some reason) it would be pathetic.

My body is strong enough I can lift about 40 tonnes and I haven't measured my punching power without A.haki with some scale but I can do a lot of damage to a steel plate with thickness of 5 inch. I could put a huge dent or I could even break it if I'm serious. I think I can increase my physical strength to an whole another level in time.

There was also this news about a sludge villain attacking a highschool boy and almight came to save the day. That was about 7-8 months ago, I knew it would happen. I have no interest in stalking people so yeah I didn't go to musutafu. But I can't wait to meet them and act cool infront of them. Seriously I just want to show off, I'm not ashamed of what I'm going to do.

In this 3 months I'm going to relax myself and finally read the 'qi'- script, the ancient technique where one utilise internal energy to empower themselves. I have not concentrated on the book at all.

**3 months later**

Today I'm getting ready to attend the UA entrance exam. Me and my grandma have been staying in Musutafu for 1 week now. We bought a apartment in a 30 story building, yeah I'm a second generation young master. I'm actually very nervous and indont know why. I don't know how people analyse their mental states, I can't do that. I know myself that I have enough strength to blaize through all the obstacles in the entrance exam, both theory and practicals. But I just don't know, is it the excitement or am I afraid of the events to come, no I don't think so. Aaahhh, fu*k this I don't care anymore.

I put my shoes on and exit the door and my grandma comes to me and gives me a kiss on my forehead.

Grandma: Ken-chan, do your best and give it your all, that'll give you what you want. Don't be nervous, don't think much about anything, just be you.

Kenji: Just be me huh? Thanks grandma, I needed that.

Grandma: don't worry Ken-chan, we are family and I'm here for that. Just enjoy your time.

Kenji: Bye grandma, cook me something I like in the evening. I'll be back by then.

Grandma: Be careful.

I just took a taxi I called and reached UA school. My first thought is, am I in the right place? Because it looks like the school was built for giants. I knew it'll be huge but it's shocking none the less. I walked in and there were lot of students coming in wearing a different school uniform or casuals, I even say a guy wearing the same uniform as me. It seems we are from the same school. He also saw me and walked toward me.

The school mate: Hi fellow student, I'm Saruto from same school. Are you also trying to get into the hero course?

Kenji: hello Saruto- kun. I'm Kenji. yeah I'm trying to get into hero course.

Saruto: Ah, I already know your name. You were quiet famous in our school after the burning building incident 2 years ago.

Kenji: Ah haha, that's embarrassing. I didn't know I was that famous. Anyway all the best. I hope you do your best.

Saruto: Thanks Kenji-kun. I'll do my best.

I went the seperate way from him because I had to meet up with someone I know.

Kenji: Hi Aoyama-kun how are you doing?

Aoyama: I'm fine, ça va? Did you see my shining self from that far.

Kenji: I'm fine Aoyama-kun. Long time no see.

I chose to ignore the weird pose and that imaginary twinkles around him. It seems he didn't change from his vain and flamboyant outer image.

Aoyama: Hmm-Hmm. it's been a long timeee. I just came back from France last month.

Kenji: I don't remember you being that good in theory did you prepare for it

Aoyama: I'm always prepared for everything in that extraordinary. Wink. Don't worry.

Kenji: ..ok.

I don't think I can get used to his flamboyance. We just went to the site of the exam, it was a huge auditorium. When we entered the we were asked to sit according to the exam hall ticket number.

They gave us the exam sheets, I subconsciously used my O.haki and observed my surroundings. I was amazed by their extravagance, the part of the room near me it's covered by multitudes of cameras which are examining each and every move of students who are writing the exams.

I don't think this will go like chunin exam of Naruto. I don't think they will allow account that uses his/her quirk to cheat in the exam. Most people don't cheat in these kind of tests but you can't say the same for all of them. There will be someone who would do it.

Anyway, I look at the question papers and find the technical questions quiet easy. I finish the exam in 2 hours and submitted it and went to the infamous canteen where did is cooked by Lunch Rush - The cooking hero. I had a small meal. They gathered us again in the exam hall to inform us about the practical exam.

I saw someone familiar but not so familiar hi who has three pair of arms, Octopus Kakashi... ahem I mean Mezo Shoji . Oh, he kind of stands out to the rest so I identified him from afar. I continued to find some other people that I might recognise but it was time already and I went to find my seat. Unexpectedly I was seated next to koji koda. I know he isn't much if a talker but when I said Hi, he just looked at me and nodded his head and turned to the front. Now that I remember each of the class A students have different kind of personalities. It'll be more fun that way, I don't want my classmates who are just monotonous in they character.

As everyone settles down Present Mic comes to the stage, " Welcome young hero aspirants, give me a yeahhhh.."

There was a utter silence in the hall. But it doesn't faze him and continues to rabby about the practical exam.

" Ahh, it's a tough crowd so I'll just get on with the information about practical exam. ARE YOU READYYYY..."

Total silence....

"So let's get started, in the practical exam you will be facing faux villains in the form of robots. Each robot has marked with numbers such as 1,2,3 it directly conveys the number of points you get if you defeat them. You get it?"

Iida: Sir, may I ask you some questions.

Present Mic: go on.

Iida: Sir according to the broucher you have provided us there is a villain numbered zero, is this a printing mistake, if it is it's very digraceful considering it comes from The UA.

And you freckels boy can you just stop all these mumblings it's very disturbing.

Izuku: Sorry..

Present Mic: I was gonna explain about that, The zero pointer is sort of obstacle you have to avoid, it's a hurdle. You will know when it pops up. Even if you defeat it you will get zero points for defeating it. So do as you wish if you see them. Alright it's time for you to go to the test ground according to the instructions provided.
