Chapter -2- [The Whole World is mine-2]

When he woke up after a good night's sleep and came into the kitchen, the food the angel had prepared was already steaming on the table. The angel herself wasn't there, but he wasn't surprised as she said that meeting her all the time was a strange thing in itself and that he wouldn't be meeting her much in the future.

"Wow. It's absolutely delicious."

Now that he was completely alone on Earth, he was affected by something so insignificant. And he wasn't being untruthful when he said it was delicious. The food was nutritionally balanced and delicious at the same time, so it was the perfect meal.

"And if she's making a lot of money, then she'll be the number one wife candidate."

When he said that, he remembered the main character in an rom-com anime series who said that his dream was to be a household husband in the future. Thinking about such trivial things, he finished his meal and stood up. He didn't bother with the dishes, knowing that Lita would take care of them. And of course, as soon as he got up the dishes had disappeared.

Because the night before, when he asked the angel, "Can you provide food wherever I am?" and he got an affirmative answer from her. He chose the university as his current place to live. It had the fastest internet. There were lots of books he could use. It has its own private gym. What more could he ask for than a place to live.

Yu Il Han put on his tracksuits and went to look for a big suitcase at home. After filling it with some comfortable clothes, he threw the books he found at home into the backpack. Since he was going to the mall to buy computer materials, he was also going to buy some new clothes that would fit him. That's why most of the suitcase was empty.

"All right. To the mall!!!" And he hype himself up.

After the mall, he was going to the university library, so he drove to the mall closest to the university. After about half an hour he reached his destination and got out of the car and headed towards the entrance of the mall.

With all his limits lifted by the essence he drank, and even more so because of Jun Xie's memories, he thought he would progress much faster than the original Il Han in training his body, learning martial arts, disassembling monsters and blacksmithing. For this reason, he wanted to add coding, his passion in his previous life, to his training. He didn't know where this coding would take him, but he still wanted to try.

"Time to 'borrow' some stuff. I'm not stealing anything. Nobody can prove it." And he went straight to the technology store.

Because it is 2016. The best processors he could find were the Intel Core i7-6700K 4.0GHz and the AMD FX-6300. He took 10 of each and put them in his cart.

"It's free anyway. Let's buy some extra, maybe we'll need it in the future."

And then headed towards the graphic card section. Similarly graphics cards, ram, motherboards, power supplies, monitors and case.. He devoured everything he could find related to computers, connected 5 carts with the electrical cables in the store and made his way to the car. To be honest, he was too lazy to go to the car 5 times and come back here.

After loading all this into the car, he took his suitcase and went into the men's clothing section of a clothing store on the ground floor. After looting the place and filling the suitcase, he went to the car and put the suitcase in the car. And he left for the university.

He parked the car in front of the university library. And he carried all his purchases to the library. He found a piece of paper and jotted down what he was going to do in the next 10 years and made a proper schedule for himself. Since he didn't know how much time had passed, he planned to move on to the next one when he got bored with what he was doing at that moment.

Since there was no mana in the world yet, he could not use the technique he learned from the Pagoda to improve the Pagoda's energy. There was a small amount of mist that the Pagoda produced to replenish his body, which he didn't know how it was produced. Perhaps because the pagoda was synchronized with his blood, if he improved his body, it would also have an effect on the little energy the pagoda produced. So he focused on the bodybuilding training in Jun Xie's memories. After talking to Lita, he was going to start martial arts. Except for assassination techniques, of course.

After a while he decided to start bodybuilding training. He attached weights to his body, legs, arms and wrists. Then he started his training with various basic movements. As far as he remembers from memories, normal punches, straight punches, hooks, uppercuts; normal kicks, front kicks, round kicks, side kicks, back kicks..

No rest was allowed between sessions. After completing his sets, he immediately moved on to push-ups, sit-ups, oblique sit-ups, duck walks, leapfrog, leg extensions and hanging upside down. By the time he finished this session, the muscles in his entire body were extremely burning. If this training were given to an ordinary person even if they persevered to the end, they would be so exhausted that they would almost die! But Il Han felt rejuvenated.

But, that was only the beginning!

After training both hands and feet, it was finally time to start training in a series of martial art moves, each one meticulously practiced!

Even if these movements were simply practiced according to a style without essence, they would still leave one drenched in sweat. After all, each one was performed to a strict standard. Each punch involved every part of the body, from the toe to the heel, then the bending ankles, calf muscles, hamstrings, thighs and lower back. Each of these channeled the power and momentum towards the shoulder and from there into the arm. The resulting punch was a punch with the power of the whole body! He was throwing every punch with all his strength!

A martial arts clan once said that the most important thing in training is the simplest punches and kicks. But these simple punches and kicks need to engage all the muscles in the body in order to have maximum power! Some punches can take a person's life, and some punches can cause a sprained ankle. So the basics were important to avoid hurting yourself. And he had to have complete control over his body while learning those basics.

After completing the entire preliminary training program, he took a little rest, drank some water, and went into conditioning training. He ran fifty laps around the library.

After the run, he returned to the gym and prepared several bamboo tubes that were completely pierced with needles and placed them neatly on the table. He then took a bamboo tube without the steel needles and placed it in the center of the previous formation of bamboo tubes with needles. There was only a space about the thickness of a palm between each of the bamboo tubes with needles. Il Han wanted to strike the bamboo tube in the center of this formation with his fingers without touching the needled tubes on either side of his palm. In addition, before striking the last tube, his palm had to pass through the three needle bamboo tubes and the strike had to make a sound!

This little training was aimed at training the flexibility of the fingers to the extreme! This training seemed simple, but it was actually very difficult! Needles were everywhere and any excessive or insufficient use of force or lack of flexibility would cause the hand to be pierced by the steel needles. This moment of pain would cause everyone's hand to tremble, which would cause more needles to pierce the hand.

Il Han maintained his indifferent expression as he calmly inserted his hands, which had undergone the previous intensive training session, into the needle tubes..

After the last excruciating bamboo training, he started an extra workout at the gym where he worked all his muscles again. By the time he finished this workout, he was completely exhausted. He took a shower, put on a new tracksuit and walked to the library. He found a table in the library and was about to dive into books about computers when his 'lunch' appeared on the table. He was surprised for a moment. But he quickly recovered and thanked the angel. And devoured the delicious food.

Yu Il Han kept up this insane tempo for three years. The legendary grind..

[Are you really a modern human being? How can you do the same things every day for three years?]

At one point the angel appeared and asked.

"But didn't you tell me that I had to do this?"

[Yeah. But it's very fascinating that you do it every day at such a pace, like a machine, without complaining, without getting bored.]

"I'm doing it because you told me to do it. My survival after these 10 years will depend on my efforts today."

[…] The angel looked at Il Han as if she was looking at a monster.

As the angel said, his body hadn't aged, but Yu Il Han's body had developed so much after an effective regular diet and a lot of exercise that it resembled the bodies of people who competed in bodybuilding competitions. Considering that he trained for half the day, this was quite expected.

[You really are not an ordinary human. Though I knew that when you used your concealment ability to hide you even from God's eyes.]

"But it is very interesting that this ability of mine cannot hide me from you.. I wonder why?" 'Of course, the Concealment technique is no longer passive. It's under my complete control. I'm keeping it off for you. I can hide myself directly if I want.' he thought. Of course the angel did not answer his question.

And this pace continued for two more years. The angel had promised ten years and he had 'five' years left. He was tired of going to the gym every day and wanted to try something else.

"I need to learn some martial arts and how to use a weapon, don't I?"

[You don't have someone to teach you these things, do you? How do you plan to learn?]

Although she said they wouldn't meet much in the future, the Angel appeared again and again. Perhaps she had gotten used to Il Han, but she was no longer as polite as she had been. If you ignored the feathered wings on her back, she was just like a beautiful older sister.

"I don't know why, but the electricity and internet are still working. So I can study on my own by watching videos on youtube or something."

[This is a good idea...]

Yu Il Han stopped looking at the Angel and sighed.

"If you were to offer me martial arts, what would they be?"

[Vale Tudo and Spear training. I don't think there are many videos that give spear training, so study the basics until you die.]

"Well, since you suggested these, do you know these martial arts too?"

[You're gonna ask me to teach you?]

"I don't think you'd accept even if I wanted to. I can tell by the way you care so much about the balance in the world. So I don't want to give you any extra trouble. It was just a random question."

The angel did not respond to Il Han's deductions. [Yes. I know these techniques.]

Il Han smiled and started researching the martial arts the angel had told him about on the internet. Except for Vale Tudo, he already knew most of them from Jun Xie's memories, but he couldn't let the angel know that he knew them.

Sleep and food were solved and there were things he had to do every day. Moreover, there was an Angel who spoke to him from time to time.

The first two years were spent learning the martial arts the angel had suggested. For Yu Il Han, who had trained his body but had never fought before, Vale Tudo was like a girlfriend he met on the internet, only existing remotely through the monitor.

Compared to that, he had improved in spear training. All those who want to learn how to use the spear start their training with a long staff to learn how to control the shaft of the polearm. Il Han also started training with a long staff. Yu Il Han, who didn't understand the 'd' of martial arts, knew from the memories of Jun Xie the Maniac that he had mastered many weapons. And of course, the spear was one of them.

Spear drills were an important part of spear training. These drills taught primary grips, stances, maneuvers, cuts, chops, slashes, blocks, parries, and thrusts, and built these important movements into the body as a second nature reflex. Spear drills are conducted without a partner, against partners, dummies and all kinds of specialized equipment. The spear drills in these memoirs were designed for students to practice attack and defense against multiple opponents in 8 directions.

Il Han of course didn't realize it, but time was moving on and by the time two more years had passed, his spear technique had gained a sharp edge. His movements matched his memories. Il Han was progressing at a fast pace.

Something that could not be done became something that could be done with trying the same thing over and over again. This thought pushed him further. Instead of blood, the Dao of Grind flowed through his veins.

Then couldn't Vale Tudo be the same? Yu Il Han, who had only just begun to pick up martial arts, began to search for books and videos with even more enthusiasm. And as he progressed in his spear training, he also began to grasp Vale Tudo too.

When he started to think he could do it, he started to make progress. First of all, Vale Tudo was a useful fighting technique for killing your enemy without any rules. He looked at other martial arts books and videos and put in the effort to learn them with his body, and Yu Il Han felt that he was slowly getting the hang of things.

Yu Il Han's muscles had developed from this martial arts training, one-sided, battle-oriented. When Angel saw him again, nine years after he had been abandoned there, she was shocked again.

[You didn't take any weird drugs, did you? How did you build such a body in 4 years?]

"Can you respect the hard work I've put in on this path? Dear angel.."

[What a human being, always full of surprises. Or are all people in this world just like you?]

"Please, stop messing with me."

Il Han's main problem was that he had no opponent. He needed to fight someone to see how well his techniques were working, where there were problems and where he needed to fix them. He was always fighting with the punching bags.

In his ninth year of desolation and fourth year of martial training, Yu Il Han was thinking about this. It was something he often thought about as he became more confident in his technique. To be able to fight with other people.. If it was nine years ago, he would have been afraid and run away or called the police.

[Do you want me to be your training partner?]

The Angel who asked this question pointed to herself. Il Han asked doubtfully:

"You couldn't teach me martial arts, but it's okay for you to be my sparring partner?"

[It's okay to be your sparring partner. Do you agree or not?]

"If you don't mind, of course I'm more than happy to accept." Il Han said and smiled.

[Hmm.. All right. You can try your techniques against me in the future. Come on, attack me..]

"Good! I'll be in your care in the future. Dear angel.."

[Of course.]

The Angel reassured him by tapping her unnecessarily large chest. Il Han looked at her and his smile grew even bigger and he charged straight at the Angel.

'I'm finally going to learn how the elixir can improve me in a fight against someone. I hope Lita will also surpass her limits by training with me at the end of these long years.'

And he lost pitifully. The Angel was the star of Vale Tudo.

[You can see me as an opponent in any way you want. This is the greatest service since the creation of the Angels!]

"Yes!!"

The angel speaks as if a saleswoman is promoting her product. After being defeated and while his body bruised and battered Il Han was overflowing with excitement. And the Angel, after seeing his nine years of training, really wanted to help him survive the Great Cataclysm.

Fighting with the Angel had really accelerated his technique. His improvement was obvious. This feeling of improvement was like a fuel that pushed him forward. In Vale Tudo and in spear fighting, his techniques improved limitlessly.

And the promised ten years had come to an end.

After ten years of training, Yu Il Han's body was strong enough to fight a polar bear, but his face was still the same as ten years ago. So there was a strange incompatibility. But of course none of this mattered.

"I wish I was a little taller. It would make my body look more harmonious with my developed muscles..."

[You'll grow up after the Great Cataclysm anyway... You actually look pretty good except for your height. Hmm. Yeah, a little taller wouldn't be bad.] I couldn't understand what she was saying because she was murmuring after the first sentence.

"Angelll, did you say something about my height?! I couldn't hear you, can you say it out loud again?"

And of course she ignored my question.

[You've integrated so many techniques into your body, so you'll be able to face low-class monsters without difficulty. Thus, leveling up will also be smooth. You'll also be able to deal with mana over time.]

The angel spoke with a little disappointment that it was time to say goodbye. But when Il Han heard what she said, he immediately asked her.

"How can I kill monsters? I thought you said I couldn't kill them without mana."

[This applies to high class monsters, which are created entirely with a higher energy system. Low class monsters can be easily killed with guns, spears or knives, though?]

"You! You deceived me... Angeeeelll!!!"

[Ara ara.. I didn't lie? You just never asked for details!]

"Did you even stay with me? You were going God knows where for months at a time. I forgot after all these years."

The angel proudly puffed out her chest and chattered on. This was a naughty woman who was sexually tempting at every chance. This is what Il Han was thinking as they bickered with each other.

"An ordinary university life will be impossible, won't it?"

[Of course. The majority of society will be crippled. And there will come a time when fighting skills will be needed more than academic ability.]

"Hmm…"

[When I first found out that one person was left behind, I thought the sky was falling, but thanks to your efforts, I didn't have to worry too much. You've worked hard so far. You'll do well in the future.]

The time had come. He was in the same place as ten years ago. Of course, Il Han didn't know the time, so the angel told him. They were waiting on campus with the angel.

"Thank you for everything up to now, dear Angel."

[Wow!]

It was the first time he thanked her. Or rather, it was the first time the angel heard it. He always thanked the angel after his meals, but the angel didn't seem to hear him. The angel didn't seem to know that he was going to get a thank you so she was a bit taken aback. But finally she laughed and flapped her wings and came near him.

[It's been a very fun and fulfilling ten years, because of you. I want to thank you, too..]

"Will I see you again in the future?"

[Actually, it's up to you.]

"Well.. Do you want to tell me how it's going to be up to me? Angel."

[You don't need to know that now. You'll learn it later.]

The angel hesitated for a while after saying that.

[My name is Lita, by the way.]

"Lita huh? It's a beautiful name."

Il Han's eyes lit up and he smiled at Lita. The angel watched this scene with satisfaction before Lita flapped her wings and flew up.

[I have to go. Time on Earth will soon flow again and people will come back.]

"Have a safe trip, Lita."

They both said goodbye to each other. Lita slowly rose into the sky and Il Han watched her ascend and waited.

.

.

..he waited..

.

.

He waited and after a while still nothing happened.

"..."

Il Han was still watching the angel. And he could see Lita panicking in the air.

"...Would you like to explain what happened?"

Yu Il Han asked the angel calmly. Lita slowly landed on the ground and laughed sweetly: "Teehee". And she spoke: [I think there's been a mistake.]

"What kind of mistake, dear Lita?"

[It seems that there is a slight deviation of the time axis, perhaps due to the stopping of time or some other reason. It's not a problem. I mean, if you last another ten or twenty years...]

"Haahhh!"

Il Han looked at the angel with disappointment and sighed.

"Okay. It's only 10 or 20 years. I don't even know how the previous 10 years went by. It's okay, I'll wait."

Humans are adaptive creatures. He had done well so far, he would do well from now on. He was convinced by his positive attitude, which was his only good quality, but had now become one of his many good qualities.

"But you're not going to disappear anywhere, Lita. I don't want to be on my own all the time except for training."

Angel Lita could only nod. Because Il Han was her responsibility. She didn't want him to go crazy or do anything to himself.

However, even after 10 years and 20 years, humanity did not come back.

When the number of years reached fifty, Il Han stopped counting.
