Who are you?

"Jin?" Seo-yeon repeated. She didn't expect him to introduce himself with a nickname, as if they were close friends. She pulled her hand away after briefly shaking his hand. She avoided eye contact, pretending she had to adjust her camera strap hanging off her shoulder.

"We were just leaving as well. Don't want to get caught in the rain," Jin said, looking behind him, verifying that he didn't loose his friend, "For safety purposes, why don't we go together."

Seo-yeon knew from the determination in his eyes, that he wasn't going to let her refuse his offer of assistance. She nodded in agreement, and all three began walking towards the beach. She told herself that her heart was beating as fast as it was because she was scared of falling into the water, or spraining her ankle, and NOT because of the man standing beside her. He didn't speak, but offered his arm any time her footing became unsteady.

After what felt like hours to her, they made it to the beach. Seo-yeon thanked him, preparing to jolt to her car in the parking lot. As she turned to leave, a hand gripped her forearm, preventing her from escaping.

"Are you insane, Jin? What if she took pictures?" the other man said. He was shorter than Jin, and from his tone, not offering help, or friendship.

"Yoongi-ah, you're scaring her. Let her go." Jin commanded. Yoongi slightly hesitated, but respectfully heeded Jin's words, letting go of Seo-yeon's arm. "I'm sorry about that. You see, it would be very uncomfortable for us, if you did take pictures, and distributed them..."

"I didn't. Why would I?" Seo-yeon gasped. Who did they think they were? She didn't even know who they were, and couldn't understand why a simple picture was so hazardous to them. Yoongi continued to glare, untrustingly.

"She said she didn't," Jin repeated to Yoongi, "I trust that you are being honest, so let's part here, Seo-yeon."

Dazed by Jin's charm, she quickly nodded, and dashed for her car. She didn't have to look back to know that both men were watching her departure. She tossed her belongings into the passenger seat, and drove away as fast as she could.

"You should've demanded the memory card. If she took any pictures, and the public sees them, we can kiss our fishing trip good-bye." Yoongi bitterly said.

"She didn't seem the type. She didn't even recognize us."

"That's probably what she was hoping we'd think. You know how reporters are."

Jin smiled at Yoongi, and replied, "We've been here two days, and no one has caught onto who we are. I think we've done a good job at being cautious and hiding our identies."

"Fine, but if she turns out to be a reporter, or stalker, I just want it on record that I tried to stop her."

Yoongi shook his head and continued to their rental truck and began loading. Jin laughed to himself. He knows that Yoongi's paranoia was warranted, and he probably should have questioned Seo-yeon more, but she seemed sincere. To be honest, his judgement may have been clouded by her cute mannerisms. Her shy greeting, her refusal to make eye contact, and her dramatic run to her car. If Yoongi knew any of this, he'd want to strangle Jin for being blinded by a cute face. Shrugging off what was already done, Jin hopped into the drivers seat, and headed to their beach house.
