I miss you

After finishing her meal, Li Hua got into a yellow sports car with Longwei. As she sat down, Li Hua felt a burning gaze on her. Turning her head, she came face to face with two cold eyes staring at her.

Startled, she leaned closer to the door while cautiously keeping an eye on the man in front of her. "What?"

Leaning over, Li Longwei could smell a faint scent of strawberry vanilla coming from the woman in front of him.

He wanted to lean in closer and put his face in between the crane of her neck to get a better smell of her.

Restraining himself, Li Longwei gave a small smile before backing away and starting the car.

Confused, Li Hua found Li Longwei to be a strange man.

Soon silence permitted throughout the car, neither said a word to the other.

As the scene changed from a bustling city to a quite road lit by multiple street lights, a gate soon came into view.

As the car drove through past the gates and through the lit road, the Neng's house finally came into view.

Stopping in front of the house, Li Longwei got out of the car and walked around to open the door for Li Hua.

Grabbing her purse, Li Hua reached behind her to open the door, but instead of grabbing the door handle she felt a warm hand instead.

Turning around she saw her hand in the palm of someone's with a firm, but gentle grip.

Looking up Li Hua could see the gentle gaze that Li Longwei had.

"Come out," said Li Longwei as he held her hand.

Clearing her throat, Li Hua pulled her hand away quickly as she got out of the car.

"Thank you for the ride home CEO Longwei. I'm sorry for the inconvenience I've caused you today at work and at home."

Hearing her words, a wrinkle slowly formed across Li Longwei's forehead as he frowned. Clearly upset at her words, Li Longwei stepped closer to Li Hua.

"It was no problem. In fact you can come whenever you want."

Surprised at his words, Li Hua shook her head.

"No. I'll come visit again when I have business with you. Thank you for the meal today. Have a safe drive back home CEO Li."

Bowing her head slightly, Li Hua bid good night to Li Longwei and walked up the steps into the huge mansion.

As he watched her walk away from him, a dull ache was felt in Li Longwei's chest.

Putting his hand up to his chest, Li Longwei stared longingly at the doors that closed, leaving him behind.

"I miss you already," mumbled Li Longwei.
