8 “Christine, please don’t refuse. You need to think about yourself.”

"Miss Sandra, That's at least 3 months away. We will grab all opportunities to get closer to Sam and will show off in our WhatsApp group. Also, did you thought of Sam as some casual guy who will go on a date with just any girl? You are thinking too highly of yourself."

Sean was trying to conceal his emotions quite well. When this silly girl would realise that he likes her.

"I did not mean that. He is my dream guy. I will do my best to get closer to him. However, He is too good at everything. He must be expecting a girl of his calibre. He is not my cup of tea."Sandra Sighs with this thought.

"Christine, Lisa is very upset and angry. She has been talking to Mark and Ray since morning. Almost everyone knows that you have been selected. Not that everyone is happy for you but at the very least, they won't find trouble with you." Sean told her about the things that he is aware of the current situation.

"However, I suspect that Lisa won't give up so easily. She will think of a way to plot against you. We won't let her bully you." Sandra spoke her mind.

"Thank you, guys. I am not happy either with Mark's decision but I will never allow Lisa to take advantage of this situation. I have had enough of her already. I am not going to sit idle and watch her plotting against me."

The cafeteria was now bustling with people. A long queue had formed near the payment counters. They had finished their meal so they won't cause inconvenience to others. They deposited their empty trays in the Dishwasher and left the Cafeteria.

Christine and Cletan had their first session post Lunch. Later, Christine found some time to visit travel Desk. The global travel team walked her through all the formalities. They gave her a checklist of items that she needs to complete before she travels to the client location. Christine had left her passport at her parents place so she would need to make a trip back home today.

Christine then requested 2 hours off from Sean which he gladly approved. She opened a popular cab application on her cellphone and booked her ride. Her cab was about to arrive near building entrance in another 10 min so she switched off her laptop and put it into her backpack.

When she was about to step out of an elevator at the ground floor, She received a call from a cab driver. He was waiting for her outside Security post. She informed him to wait for her there. She quickened her pace. It was not a rush hour so she was able to locate her cab rather easily. She got into a cab, confirmed OTP. The cab driver started driving the car after setting up the destination on App.

Christine reached her home, half past 6 in the evening. When she changed into her home slippers, Her mother was preparing Dinner in Kitchen. Her father was busy in watching the evening news on a popular news channel on television. Her father answered the doorbell, he was shocked to find Christine at the door. Ever since she had moved to a rented place, Christine would come home every Friday evening and would stay there until Monday morning. If Christine is working on Saturday then she will inform them that she would not be visiting them.

"Christine, did something happened to you?

How did you come home in the middle of the Week?"

"Father, it's nothing serious. Sorry, I was so busy in the office that I forgot to inform you both."

Hearing all commotion from the Living room, Christine's mom came out of Kitchen.

"Christine, Dinner is almost ready. Go and freshen up in your room. I and your Father will wait for you at the Dinner table. Let's talk while we eat."

"Okay, Mom. I am going upstairs to freshen up in my room."

Christine's Home was a two-story apartment with 3 rooms including Guest room. Christine's room was on the first floor. She had room walls painted in pink Colour. She had the Study table right next to her Bed that was looking clean and neat. Her mom must be tidying her room every day.

She entered her bathroom, took a quick shower and changed into her home Pajamas. She had purchased this set of Pajamas a few months back from nearby shopping Mall. Her favourite colour is Blue so she had brought 3 Pajama Sets in Sky blue, Baby blue and Turquoise Blue. When she came downstairs into the Kitchen, Her parents were arranging cutlery on the Dinner Table.
