Who would've thought Dadan's younger brother's presence could change everything we know of One Piece. The entire plot of One Piece will change, the power scaling will be upped by a lot (ain't no way Crocodile, a warlord is that weak, so everybody and their grandmother is stronger), Luffy's crew will completely change, and some character from new world will appear early on, and much more. I'm reallly trying to write a fanfiction that is not just reliving the plot with some changes here and there, so entirely new arcs will pop up here and there and the ones that won't disapear because of the changes Sora caused will be completely different. On top of that, there is a surprise that some might like and some might not (but I do so). This is a huge project I'm taking on because I like it, so bear with me if I don't update regularly. I'm just writing the starting chapter as a way to motivate myself while I'm thinking of the entire plot, no real update schedule as of now.

Chapter 1Sora Curly : on the road to his 2nd adventure

The sun kissed the rolling hills of Foosha Village as the first cock-a-doodle-doo of the morning was heard. On top of Mt Colubo, a cacophony of crashing pots and pans emanated from the Dadan family hideout.

Dadan had kicked over a stack of pans in her furious pursuit of an errant Sora, her younger brother.

"Get back here, you little scoundrel!" Dadan bellowed, waving a broom in the air.

Sora darted through the rooms with a triumphant grin, a makeshift cape made of tablecloth flowing behind him and a piece of chocolate cake in his hand. "O you Queen of the Bandits! Can't you even catch a simple thief! You've let down all aspiring bandits in the 4 seas".

Dadan's face turned red in anger seeing Sora actually turn to look at her, bringing HER part of the cake she left for herself after Sora's 11 birthday yesterday. She threw the broom, but Sora grinned and jumped aside, making the broom miss, hitting a stack of cards that Magra, one of the bandits, was carefully arranging.

"Oi! Sora! Watch it!" Magra yelled.

Dogra, who was sipping coffee, just shook his head "Boss how could you let chocolate aside with Sora in the house? You're practically giving up on it " making the spectating bandits chuckle knowing that the one thing Sora couldn't live without was chocolate.

Sora, now wearing a pot on his head, stopped to strike a regal pose. "Listen to me, my subjects! Today, I shall traverse the vast kitchens of our kingdom, and feast upon the rarest delicacy, Chocolate! "

The bandits snickered, attracting their boss's ire. Dadan huffed. "Get him!". They promptly shut up and all of them stood up sighing, though their eyes couldn't help but flicker with amusement. Say what you want about the sibling duo, but they always had these fun moments with them.

"Come peasants, yours truly shall play with you" Sora smiled in defiance, standing on top of the sink with a pot in one hand, the other wiping what remained of the chocolate cake on his shirt making Dadan's eyes turn red.

"What's all the commotion?!" The door of one of the rooms flew open as Ace, 10 years old, dark bags under his eyes from a bad night of sleep, stomped in.

Sora jumped and wrapped an arm around Ace's shoulder. "My Young Prince Ace! You must join me in my gastronomical conquest!" he declared.

Ace shoved him away. "Cut it out! I'm no prince, and definitely not YOUR prince!" he growled.

"Come on my prince, we are facing an enraged bandit queen and her army of rogue kitchen utensils. Our only hope is to cook up a storm so delicious, it'll put them to sleep and then we can pounce!" Sora ruffled Ace's hair, making him growl in annoyance. "Leave me alone, I just woke up!" Ace threw a punch, which the orange-haired boy effortlessly dodged by ducking.

Dadan, seeing the energetic tussle, calmed down and a mischievous smirk spread across her face. "Hey, why not put those cooking skills to the test? Battle it out in the kitchen! Best dish gets immunity from chores!" she teased, hoping to not have to make breakfast this morning.

Ace's eyes widened and blazed like a furnace, as he wrestled free from Sora's headlock. "Deal!" Ace was never one to back down, and he relished every chance to compete with Sora, be it in races, chores or, apparently, cooking.

The kitchen turned into a battlefield with pots and pans clanging, and ingredients flying. The bandits watched in anticipation, some even making bets.

Sora, surprisingly nimble in the kitchen, whipped up an interesting combo of potatoes and spicy berries. Ace, fueled by determination but lacking a game plan, ended up with something that vaguely resembled food, but was closer to a volcanic eruption on a plate.

As Ace stared at his creation skeptically, Sora couldn't pass up the chance to prank him. He sneakily slipped a harmless snake - one of his "emergency prank supplies" - into Ace's boot.

As Ace conceded defeat after one brave taste of his dish nearly brought tears to his eyes, he went to fetch water from the well since he lost. .

Sora clapped a hand over his mouth to stifle his laughter. His eyes were practically twinkling with anticipation as he watched the younger boy put on his boot.

The room was about to learn a new octave when Ace slipped on his boot.

"Kya!"

Sora's laughter exploded like a cannonball.

"Bahahahahaha! Kya, he says! Kya!" He was practically rolling on the floor laughing, with tears streaming down his face. The rest of the bandits joined in the laughter, unable to contain themselves.

Ace's face was a mix of shock and rage. "You bastard" he shouted, lunging at Sora.

"Kya! Scatter, my noble subjects, for Prince Ace hath been possessed by the spirits of a thousand angry pots and pans!" Sora dodged and weaved, sprinting for the door with the laughter and chaos in his wake.

Just as Sora was about to make his grand escape, the door flew open, and he collided with a wall of muscle.

"Yo!" Monkey D. Garp, a marine Vice-Admiral, came inside carrying a small, wide-eyed boy with a straw hat in tow.

Sora fell backward, sitting on the floor. "Ouch! I didn't expect my escape to be stopped by a mountain! Truly, you can't fight against nature" he exclaimed, rubbing his nose.

Dadan straightened up immediately, her demeanor changing. "Garp-san! What brings you here?"

Garp, with his signature grin, nudged the little boy forward. "This here is Luffy. He's gonna be stayin' with you. Say hi"

The young boy raised his hand in and greeted in a nonchalant way "Yo"

Dadan's eyes widened. "Another one?! Why, you...!"

Garp ignored her protests and threw Luffy over. "Make sure he grows strong, Dadan."

Sora, intrigued by the new arrival, got up and approached Luffy, who was staring at everything wide-eyed.

"Hey, I'm Sora! What's your name?" Sora asked, extending his hand.

"I'm Luffy! I'm gonna be the Pirate King!" Luffy exclaimed, shaking Sora's hand vigorously.

Sora chuckled. "Oho not bad not bad! I want to see everything there is to see, hear everything there is to hear and eat everything there is to eat, especially if it has chocolate!"

"Cool! Wanna join my crew"

"Nah you're younger than me"

Ace, still fuming from Sora's prank, observed Luffy silently from the corner, not liking the boy for some reason.

Garp, having explained everything to Dadan, was about to leave. Before stepping out, he turned to Sora and said "Come, your books are on my ship"

"Coming, mountain man!" Sora saluted immediately, his eyes twinkling, before following behind the older man at full speed.

Dadan looked at her excited brother and smiled. Garp had taken a fancy to the quirky personality of her brother and often brought him books to quench his thirst for knowledge.

On top of that he also … Her mood turned slightly complicated as she thought of what Garp just told her.

A few days later, Sora was perched on top of a heap of books, shaped vaguely like a pyramid. He yawned, stretched and then cracked open the last book Garp had brought him, titled 'The Story of Noland'.

His eyes scanned the pages, and he couldn't help but feel a surge of excitement as he read about wild adventures and mysteries. He glanced up from the book and looked out at the blue ocean stretching before him, shimmering under the golden sun.

"An island in the sky, huh? So cool! Almost as badass as that island underwater" he mumbled to himself.

Jumping down from his book pyramid, Sora's legs buckled a bit and he groaned. "Ow! Seriously, why did that muscle-head hit me so hard?"

Grumbling and rubbing his sore side, he stood up and looked back at the books. He had a grin on his face that was a mix of mischief and genuine excitement. "Not long now, and I'll be off on the world's most epic adventure! Thanks for all this knowledge." he said, giving a mock salute to the pile of books before disappearing as if he was never here.
