Standing on a cliff facing the sea a small boy could be seen standing looking out at the open seas, he had shining blonde hair reaching down to the middle of his back and creamy white skin, but what stood out the most was his black eyes that were so deep and dark they could capture any who dared stare into them.

"I still can't believe that I'm in the one piece world."

The boy's voice sounded deep and lifeless, not something one would expect from a boy with his looks and age.

"Why am I here? and who am I?" the boy asked these two questions one after the other, a question too deep to be asked by a normal child but he was anything but normal.

He had woken up on the beach, not too far from the cliff it seemed his mind had been tampered with as he could remember this wasn't his life it wasn't even the world he was born into, but that was it he didn't remember anything from his past life other than some anime he used to watch, even though he knew he had a past life he couldn't remember his personal information.

He had only managed to figure out he was in the one piece world from the information this body had, which wasn't much.

The previous owner had been attacked by pirates on a merchant ship with his parents, and even though the marines managed to save his parents and the rest of the people on board in the fight he had been pushed overboard and drowned, he must have washed up here.

Sigh!

"What should I do now? I have no connection to my past life nor to this body's parents. What should I do?"

(Pov of the Boy)

I am in this world by the power of some higher being, That's the only answer I can think of for why I am here. I don't even remember if I died in my life before.

Sigh

I have no connection to anything, so what should I do?

I have no intention to spend the rest of this new life I got on this island, for that matter I have no idea if this place even has people.

Looks like I'll have to look for something to eat soon, and water.

I just hope the forest doesn't have any super strong animals, but who am I kidding it's one piece I'm sure there is probably some kind of huge tiger or monkey in there. The best I can hope for is to not run into them.

After all, I can't exactly stay here and starve now can I, It's either take the risk of death to find food and survive or stay here and die for sure the choice is simple.

Taking a deep breath I started walking back down the cliff I was on as a arrived back on the beach, I continued walking straight into the forest behind it.

Entering the forest I made sure to take my time and look around keeping aware of my surroundings and making sure not to touch anything that looked weird after all I didn't know what would be poisonous.

But something was strange, I just realized I haven't seen any animals no birds not even an ant, no fruits could be seen on the trees that surrounded me on all sides.

This was not right, but even though I felt this was weird I just blamed it all on one piece logic and carried on.

As I continued to walk deeper into the forset finally something that appeared to be fruits appeared on the branches of the tree, but now there was another problem I have no idea how to climb a tree and with how high they were, and how weak this body is, if I fall, that's it I die.

Deciding to take my chances further in hoping to find one on a lower branch, I walked forward, and a while after my hopes were proved to be true as the trees became loaded with whatever this fruit was.

The trees were so full that there were many that had fallen on the ground the only problem was they had rotted too much all ready for me to eat them.

Picking a random tree I climbed up it to its lowest branch that had fruits on it and picked one, without any hesitation I sank my teeth into the fruit as the sweet juices flowed into my mouth, after finishing one my hand reached for another then another as I kept eating to my heart's content.

Finally finished eating and full, Turned to continue picking more when I noticed something strange, higher up in the tree there was a black fruit far different than the yellow color the others had.

It's a devil fruit, it clicked after I noticed the strange marking on it, I wanted it.

ROAR!!!!!!!

A loud and terrifying roar echoed through the forest as the boy snapped from his thoughts quickly to notice the approaching gorilla, without any hesitation, the boy jumped from the tree he was in and ran off heading out of the forest at his fastest speed with a giant gorilla chasing behind him.

For some reason, after chasing after the boy the gorilla stopped after reaching the area where there were no fruits as it stood there roaring in anger as it watched the boy disappear from sight.
