One Piece: Rise of Gray

When he finally wakes up, he is in the world of One Piece. He is now the only successful subjects for marines after their experiement. He was your typical VR-mmo player. He transmigrated while watching a piece in his VR. Before going blank in his VR capsule, he filled out a form.

"If you sleep like that, I'll finish all the meat."

Ace awoke immediately upon hearing the words and began his super-fast devouring speed.

Ace left the bar after finishing his meal.

"I'm going to leave. I need to find someone."

"Sure, I hope we don't cross paths again."

Gray waved Ace out of the bar with his hand.

"That's rude!"

After Ace left the bar, they started their discussion.

"As I previously stated, we shall defeat Shiki the golden lion. After that, I'll become a warlord. I'll explain it in more detail later, but I don't intend to be a warlord for long."

Gray had planned to take Shiki on before meeting him, and he would do so even if he didn't meet Law.

"Did you have plans to take down Shiki before you met us?"

Gray cast a glance at Law, who seemed as keen as ever. He knew he had to tell him the details at some point.

I was planning on doing that before I met you, and I don't believe it will be a problem because I don't intend to become too connected with marines regardless.

Gray's words were closely scrutinized, as Law asked to validate his theory.

"Do you have something you really want to achieve from them?"

Gray nodded his head in agreement. It was easier to have this conversation with Law given Law knew how to examine the situation and not act rashly.

"I do have something I need to accomplish, and it might take a year at most to accomplish it with Marines."

Law took a glass of booze and drank it whole before replying.

"I get it. In any case, being a warlord will help me with my request."

Law had become a warlord before taking Doflamingo in the battle.

"Oh! Will you tell me now or after you've fought Shiki?"

*Burp*

"After the battle with him, I'll tell you, there's no rush."

'At the very least, he began to develop trust in me.'

Gray chuckled faintly and continued his meal.

"Both of us will leave to get another crew member, and for the time being, the other members will remain in water 7, as it is an area where I cannot transport more than one person."

Law cast a glance at the other three. They nodded, indicating that they were fine with it.

"Where are we going that just one more person can join you?"

Gray pointed to the sky, indicating the sky island, but Law didn't understand because he had never heard of it.

"We're going to Sky Island, which is up in the sky."

Gray's words caused Law's brows to twitch slightly. He had no idea Sky Island existed and thought it was a fantasy.

"Are they even real? Even if they really exist, how could anyone go there?"

"They do exist, or otherwise. Why would I even bother to go there?"

Gray got Law to gaze at him with bewilderment. Beppo and the rest, like Law, did not believe it.

"Even if they really exist, how would we get there?" I don't think you'd be able to grow a wing and start to fly like a bird.

Gray smiled for a short instant. He could fly like a bird with his dragon wings, but Law was clueless of all that.

"I planned to fly there while carrying you. I won't brag, but I can fly."

'He's crazy.'

"Don't worry about it. It is my responsibility to get there, and you will assist me if a battle breaks out with our newbie, who is a strange one."

Gray had planned to include Enel in his crew, but Enel was a force to be reckoned with. He could win if he pushed himself past his limits, but Sky Island would perish after the battle, which is where Law came into play.

'He has a terrible god complex. If he refuses, I will simply take his Devil fruit. It is, after all, one of the most powerful devil fruit and logia at that.'

Gray was considering methods to recruit Enel into his crew, but his god complex made him difficult to approach.

'I'm hoping Luffy hasn't arrived at Skypiea yet, because I'm not sure how the people there or Enel himself would react.'

"I've ordered a ship and an expensive one at that. You three keep an eye on things to make sure everything is running smoothly, and we'll be here in a week or so."

They already had a submarine as a ship, so having another ship was fine because they could just store the submarine inside the ship.

"Aya, Captain!" *3

Gray gave them a gentle chuckle.

'Are they die-hard fans of playing pirates? I don't know anyone who says Aya, but I like the sound of it.'

"We'll depart right now because there's no time to waste. There are things I need to get done there."

"Huh! What's the mad rush?"

'Of course, straw hats are the source of the problem, but I can't tell them that.

"I have to get this over with. I don't want to squander my time here. I have some work to do."

"Sure, Captain, whatever you say."

Gray handed Beppo a note stating that he was Gray's crewmate and asked the three of them to keep an eye on the ship's progress while he was away.

"How are you going to get there? Submarines can only travel bottom of the sea and can't fly for your information."

Gray and Law stood on the beach, gazing up at the sky.

Gray had a reasonable estimation of Skypiea because he knew the direction of the island immediately before Skypiea and had obtained an eternal pose from the marines pointing at Jaya island.

Gray brought the eternal pose of Jaya Island, and if one flew through the sky with this pose, they would almost certainly encounter the Skypiea, which is right above it in the east direction.

Gray noticed Gray's smug expression as he took his eternal pose of Jaya Island.

"Isn't that the eternal pose of Jaya Island?"

"This is our eternal pose to Jaya island, as well as our ticket to Sky island."

*Tch*

Law knew it was pointless to ask any further questions; he was going to see it for himself.

'I need to trust in my captain.'

Gray would have to carry Law all the way to Jaya while flying with wings, which would take at least a day. It was a proper test of his muscular strength, but only someone made of rubber or with a body like his could pull it off.

Gray grew two blue wings from behind his back and spread them across his body.

"I told you that I was going to fly to Sky."

Law had no clue how he was going to get there because he had no idea about Gray's physical strength.

"How am I going to get there? I'm not sure how somebody could carry a human and fly for at least a day."

Gray's legs transformed into claw-like feet. He flew up in the carry and carried Law by the shoulder with his claw feet.

"What!"

Gray's Claw feet grasped both of Law's shoulders. Law felt like prey being carried by an eagle to be eaten.

"How long can you hold me?" "Your physical strength must have limits."

Gray smirked as he flew above the clouds. He could see the entire ocean and sea. From up there, it seemed like a small island.

"What kind of devil fruit do you have?" "It looks to be a Zoan to me."

Gray found it difficult to hear Law's words. He was going at such a great pace that the air became obstructed in his route because he was having difficulties piercing right through the atmosphere.

Law was having trouble breathing and complained about it, but it was all in vain because Gray couldn't understand a word he said.

Gray was so preoccupied with Skypiea that he forgot about Law, who was stuck between his claws.

'He intends to kill me, for sure. I have to put up with it. If I fall here, it's game over because he's also a devil fruit user.'

The law solely focused on breathing with no movements like a statue.

Law was fluttering up and down like a piece of paper in the wind. He made it through. He'd been through a lot worse.

Gray kept speeding up as much as he could after a long day of traveling. It was for the best when Law passed out on the way.

Gray could see a cloudy ocean with a massive city in front of him. Gray noticed two elderly gentlemen at the door but disregarded them and flew right through, unconcerned about the entrance price.

The two elderly gentlemen exchanged a friendly smile.

"Another group of obnoxious brats. It appears that God Enel will have to pass judgment on them as well."

Somewhere in Skypiea,

Enel was amazed to find two more people within Skypiea. Enel smirked as he sat on his throne.

Before Nami, he spoke in a godlike manner and with arrogance.

"Oh! Two more people appear to have joined the game."
