Obsessed.

I walk home down the busted sidewalk and gravel streets. This is the shortcut. I usually take the long way because I like being outside but I just left the gym and I'm tired. I walk up to the door and pull my key out. I put the key in the lock but I realize the door is open. I walk inside skeptical. I walk around the house not to realize something is stolen but to realize I have a meal on the table and a bath still warm. I think it's creepy and I throw the food away because I don't wanna be poisoned. No not today. I don't need to go to the hospital this soon after getting out. I empty the water from the bath without touching the water because there might be acid or something else dangerous in it. I walk to my closet and look for my blue hoodie. It's my favorite piece of clothing. I see it isn't in my closet. I start to look around the house to see if I might have misplaced it somewhere. I look over the whole house. It is nowhere to be seen. Tears gather in my eyes. I love that hoodie probably more than I loved any person besides my fiance.

I got it from my mother before my father killed her by slitting her neck open in front of my eyes. Her eyes that sparkled went lifeless. The last word she said was that it wasn't my fault. Then her neck was slit. Her blood spilled on the floor. Her eyes not life filled anymore. I cry tears for a bit as I fall to my bed. I fall asleep. I wake up with a girl on top of me. She isn't Ella. I try to resist.

"What are you doing!?" I yell.

"Baby, calm down. It's okay. It's me; your soulmate."

"I don't know you. You're not my soulmate; I already have one" I yelp.

"What? You know what? I'll deal with this later." She pulls out a needle filled with a milky white liquid.

"What's that!!???" I scream. She covers my mouth.

"Shhhhh Baby. It's just a little propofol. It will help you sleep." She is making her voice calm but it doesn't help. I try to struggle and scream. Her hand muffles my screams. She quickly injects me. The liquid makes me weak. I still try to struggle.

"Don't fight it Baby." She starts humming. She moves her hand. I can't scream. I'm too weak. She kisses my forehead and continues humming. I pass out.
