Xerek's chaos and melodies dance together beautifully in a turbulent hailstorm. He took Ywain's death pretty hard.

I spent my time worrying about the impending doom knocking on Zephirin's door because of the broken promises. It skipped my mind that the bond affects Ywain too. 

He and Zephirin had a bad fight before Ywain walked away. It would kill Zephirin to learn that not only did he not get to say goodbye to his friend but his friend left the world with bad blood between them. 

I ran in the rain. Rushing to find the prince and inform him of what happened, to get an opinion on how to move forward with his impending death looming over his head. 

My clothes got soaked in the rain. It was the first hailstorm in forever and I couldn't bring myself to enjoy it. Not with what has happened.
