Things I want to say about my fan fiction novel:
The novel's name admittedly is not great, and the same goes for the summary and to this day, I have not figured out a good alternative. I initially chose them as placeholders that sounded distinct enough because of how different they looked which didn't basically describe what you are going to read, and I stuck with them until I could finally figure it out a better alternative.( would appreacite a suggestion.)
Anyway, moving on, the story starts in the middle of the main character's life. As you can guess, his past is mostly left unknown, with each chapter hinting at, saying, or even explaining what happened during his earlier years.
Moreover, as you all guessed from the summary, he is in Konoha, where the Anbu force will have a greater presence in this novel and will be much involved in his life and the chapters in general.
It's best to read and discover what kind of person the main character is, but one thing I can say is that there will be times when you will question whether he is a hero or a villain.
It is somewhat AU or at going to resembles an AU they are so many things that in left unexplored in the original where I need to fill it up based on my ideas to makes sense and presence of MC did change direction of the story. It basically applies to every naruto ff, I am just clarifying it.
The cons of this novel, in my opinion, are that it becomes too informative at times and the fight scenes are relatively few and comparatively short, often ending in one chapter. Though I try my best to make them longer, like in chapter 25, where the fight scenes were written in around 1500-2000 words (a couple of hundred words were a bit informative and might feel out of place).
Another con may not be too descriptive especially if the location you can just imagine by saying its name like Valley of the end etc.
The update schedule is nonexistent as I write based on the idea I currently have for a chapter, the time it takes to proofread and choose better words with the help of ChatGPT/Claude (though I only began using the latter very recently), and the time I have left after finishing my daily study. So if the stars align, you will see new chapters every day. Otherwise, it might take weeks, especially if I am writing a chapter with fighting scenes. However, I assure you that, unlike before when I stopped updating because fight scenes discouraged me from writing, I will inform you in the last published chapter rather than ghosting you, like for the 14th time in a row…
Anyway, I hope you enjoy the fan fiction novel and comment on it, as it gets boring when no one comments. Here is a little tidbit that you will understand after reading: don't expect the main character to have an overly antagonistic relationship/dynamic with the Konoha upper echelon, unlike most Konoha-born main characters. The timeline is set way before the birth of Naruto.
