Our story follows around a young man with no memory of who he is, and where he’s at. Filled with creatures, Mages, Monsters, and holy knights. Our main character must travel the world to find his origin and possible find adventure! Hello, I’m the author and I would like to say thank you for reading. It may not be much, but it’s my first book and I hope I can make more chapters. I’m a college student so I don’t have much time on my hands so bear with me if you enjoy it. If not that’s fine with me I hope I can improve on my writing skills in the future.
It was cold...
As I opened my eyes I found myself staring into darkness. The world around me was silent, except for the sound of my steady breathing. I moved my hands to feel a cold stone floor underneath me.
(Where am I?)
The thought raced through my mind as I slowly sat up into a sitting position.
(Who am I?)
I could feel my hear thump faster in my chest and as I sat there in silence a flicker of light suddenly caught my eye. Suddenly without warning reflexes kicked in and I suddenly found myself backing into the shadows. I pressed my body against the wall and watched as the light came closer. It was a torch, and attached to the torch was a small green creature.
It was over four feet tall, and had large green pointed ears with yellow colored eyes. It wore a pair of ragged clothes and seemed to be searching for something. It suddenly said something in a foreign language before kicking a small pebble in frustration. As the goblin got closer I tried my best to press myself agains the wall to avoid the light.
As the goblin passed by I suddenly felt my weight shift, and my foot moved causing it to smack against a rock. The goblin suddenly froze and spun around pulling a rusty looking knife. Seeing the weapon in the goblins hand I felt something snap. I charged forward from the darkness which caused the goblin to yelp in fright. I brought my leg up and slammed it hard agains the goblins temple. The force of the kick caused the goblin to fly off his feet. It landed a few feet away followed by a bone-chilling crunch.
I could feel my heart thump loudly in my chest as I gazed at the unmoving silhouette in the darkness. I reached down and grabbed the torch and shined the light at the creature.
