New World: A Divine Exchange

I slowly opened my eyes, my body felt heavy for some reason

I looked around me , it seems i was sitting in some kind of classroom, which is a surprise considering i havent even gone to school, i had to leave that life behind to support my family's financial situation and i was happy with it

Feeling weirded out i stood up, the chair i was sitting on issued a sound that disturbed everyone, causing them to give me a look before they went back to usual

I wasnt bothered by this, not like i would feel flustered by these kids, though surprisingly the teacher didnt even look at me, who was supposedly sleeping in the school for some reason

Maybe she thought i was from the faculty or something, shaking my head, i just walked out of the class and started walking down the stairs

"How the heck did i even come here?" I thought as i ruffled my hair, still feeling h avy when i came across something that made me halt my breath

"Is that!?" I pointed at the reflection in front of me, or precisely at myself

Seeing the unrecognisable and young face opposite to me in the reflection left me stunned for a while

*guhhh!*

Suddenly i felt my head split apart as i writhed on the floor, the pain proved too much for me as i started screaming, attracting a crowd of students and staff alike before i fell to the darkness

"Ughh! Where am i?" I asked no one in particular as i looked around

"So i am in the infirmary " i spoke to no one again, merely stating the obvious

As for why i was so calm now, it was because i was assimilating the memories of this body while i was unconscious, as for how i did it, o dont know!

"Oh! You are awake kid!" As i was contemplating my confusing situation , a pleasant voice spoke to me

I lifted my head once again to see Miss Su , standing over the bed as she looked at me with concern

She was our school's resident nurse, she also teaches us some useful medical technique now and then to keep us up with times

I layghed wryly as i looked at her

"You suddenly started screaming like a maniac and then fell unconscious, fortunately you have woken up after a good rest" she sighed as she patted her large..

"Sorry.." i replied not sure what to say, as even though i had the memories of this kid, i wasnt this kid

In fact this wasnt even my own world, i wasnt even on Earth, from what i have gathered, this world is much farther in technology then my own

The name of this planet is Blue Pearl, Oah and Urn

The reason this planet has three names, how the hell would i know!

It just has three names, it just how the history of this world turned out to be

This world or should i say this planet is called by these three names, it is approximately the same size as the previous Earth of my universe

"Its ok, you should go back to class now that you are fine, there arent many days left, you have to get good scores and get into a good university" she said as I slowly got off the bed and wore my shoes

Surprised my body wasnt feeling as heavy as before, perhaps i had fever and she gave me some medicine

By the time i got back to class, i noticed it was empty already, then i remembered it was lunch time and the kids were probably in the cafeteria or out in the fields

The name of this school was Granite Pubic High School

It was above average school with a long standing history of breeding several influential people

"Haha! It wont hurt to go through the high school life i missed but…what happens to my family" i couldnt help but feel a heaviness in my heart

The only thing i shared with this guy was our name and poor life

Everything else was different, this guy was poor as well, but he had a family that he could count on to nurture him

'Sigh, why am i even here, and what happened to the original owner, moreover, what happened to my own body' I felt overwhelmed with emotion as a single tear slipped from my eyes

Though i quickly wiped it off, i dont want anyone seeing me cry

"Oh! You are back, did you get anything to eat, Allen" as i was thinking about what to do, i saw several boys enter the class

From the memories, i knew that the one who asked me the question was Andrew, the class topper and a genius, unlike the original owner who was only above average, though that was still better then Allen who left

School and opened up a shop to earn

"Yeah, i am not that hungry" i replied while

Smiling, I couldn't let anyoe see any abnoralities in me"

"Alright, if you feel ill or nauseous, just tell me and i will help you ask for a leave" Andrew replied with smile before he went back to his friends who were standing a few steps back

I could hear hushed whispers, I understood they were talking about me, probably something bad considering the original wasnt the best and was rather looked down upon by most including the teachers

He was after all, a trouble maker and a disobedient kid who had a bad mouth

I couldnt help but sigh as the class soon started to fill up as the kids started swarming in , the bells rang and before i knew it, we had our next lecture of General knowledge

Something that i was looking forward to. I need something to keep me out of my thoughts

What else can i do? Not like i can magically go back home or something?right!

While the teacher started his daily lecture, i began thinking about what i was going to do now that i was back here

I wanted to go back, but knew not how to do so, besides that i wanted to explore this new world and maybe earn a good living if the situation allowed it

Maybe i can become a vlogger and travel to places

I thought to myself, still thinking about my new life

Though it seemed as if the world was always against me as suddeny the whole class, as well as the whole school started shaking crazily

The approachable teacher directly bolted out of the class without a second word, the class descended into chaos

I immediately bent down and sat below my desk, some students who saw me also copied

Meanwhile i saw Andrew from the corner of my vision, he shouted at the students not to panic and quickly hide under the desks

"Damn it! Who the hell is playing with my life? Or am I that unlucky!" I cursed under my breath

Hoping to God that the ceiling doesnt fall on us

"Huh!"

I noticed a window pop up in front of me, unconsciously swiping it aside as i did so

The place also stopped shaking at the same time

Everyone cautiously crawled out from under the desks

"God! I am still alive" a boy shouted excitedly as he touched his body

"Uhuhu! We are alive "

"Where is the teacher?"

Several students started clamouring

"Guys!" Suddenly Andrew who was quiet the whole time spoke, causing the others to stop and look at him

"Did you all hear a voice in your head?" He asked suspiciously

These words broke everyone out of their stupor as they shouted in wonder

"Yeah! I did"

"I did as well, I also see a window"

"Wait guys! Isn't this ' New World' title a little familiar"

Andrew who was quite suddenly spoke out attracting everyone's attention

I also became alert, from the memories of the original owner, I came to know what everyone was talking about

The 'New World' that everyone was speaking of was none other then the best game of all time, although it hadn't even come out and only a few players has played its beta version, it's hype was unreal

Why you ask? Because this game supported. ultra realistic virtual world support

In short words, The game was an another world itself, confirmed by the developers of the game itself and the words of the beta testers

I focuses on Andrew who called everyone's attention again

"Guys… could it be that…" he spoke in a weird tone

A hint of fear and wonder in his voice

"That this game is becoming real" he finished

Causing everyone to pause as they looked at him, it wasn't know who, but someone laughed followed by everyone

They couldn't help but tease Andrew who also felt ashamed as he ruffled his hair, I, on the other hand couldn't laugh like the others

What the others thought impossible was not so impossible to me

I was the living proof of that! as if to confirm my thoughts, another voice spoke

Not it my hand but in the whole world, everyone heard it
