Naruto : The Forgotten Yamanaka

The day had started incredibly well for Ako.

For once her cute baby girl didn't cry all night so she was able to get some sleep, she woke up feeling good and the day only got better. She spent the day with her daughter and a few friends, said friends being Mikoto Uchiha and Yoshino Nara. They had a lot of fun for once, it was to say that they gossiped all day.

Yep, life was good.

Her husband would get home tonight after a long mission, and they both would have fun before going to sleep, waiting for another good day to start.

Sadly today wouldn't be like any other day, and not in good ways.

She had understood that when a group of Anbu knocked at her door. She opened it to see Shikaku Nara, Chouza Akimichi and Hiruzen Sarutobi, the Sandaime Hogake. Their expressions were a dead giveaway of what happened.

"I-Is he....." Yoshino couldn't even finish her sentence that Hiruzen nodded, his eyes clearly too tired of seeing this all so familiar scene. Things like that happened all the time when you're the leader of a Ninja Village.

However fate had another rather bad surprise for Ako. She was already a sobbing mess, denying the fact that her dear husband was dead. Baby Ino sensed her mother sadness and began to cry too, to add even more dramatic affect to all that, rain began to pour down on them.

Hiruzen had a little something in his hands, no scratch that, he had a little someone.

"Abuu Gaa!!"

A litte boy with golden eyes. A color that she was a little too familiar with. Only one person had golden eyes in the entire village, even though Ako had no idea why she made the link with the woman instantly.

"A-Ako...I'm sorry to tell you this, but...This boy is Inoichi's son, he was placed in an orphanage because his mother abandoned him. We didn't knew who he was until we found this....."

Hiruzen gave her a letter, she dreaded the words written on it.

' Dear Ako,

I"m sorry that things turned out this way. If you're reading this, then it means that you discovered the truth about me, yes i cheated on you. Before you can even ask yourself no....I didn't do it because my love for you faded. It's only the result of a mistake on my part, after a rather 'special' night, i was so drunk that i didn't know what i was doing. I woke up the day after in an unknown bed and besides me was...I think you already know who it was.

I'm truly sorry for this. I know that it can only be described as a mistake on my own, but please....Even if you hate that woman, i still want you to treat him as your son. I'm sure she WILL abandon him, i know her good enough to be able to tell what she'll do once she understands that this boy isn't her chance to get me for herself. Please Ako, it might be the most selfish thing i ever asked you, but please....Take care of him, i don't honestly think i'll be able to live long enough to come back to you. You must be confused about that, but the truth is i'm writing this letter with my last strengh, i've been poisoned by an Iwa-Nin.

I don't know how long it will take for this letter to come to you, but Ako.

Know that i'll always loves you, and Ino, and.......Kaiba, that's how she named him.

I truly hope that you'll be able to see this boy as your son, i can't even imagine what will happen if you don't....... '

Ako couldn't even believe what she just read. Inoichi had cheated on her, with.....

Sadness turned to a deep hatred. OH how she hated this wretched woman!

Hiruzen noticed the flicker in her eyes and put his hand on her shoulder.

"Ako.....I know you're shocked by all this, but...I'll leave the boy in your care, i've many things to deal with but i'll come to see you as soon as i can." Said the Elderly man, he was still the leader of the village after all.

Shikaku and Chouza could only comfort Ako as she cried, Ino had long since went to sleep.

Like that the days passed. They passed incredibly slowly for Ako, she would keep watching him, watching this boy......His golden eyes looking at her as if he was mocking her....She didn't wanted to hate the innocent boy because of his mother, sadly his eyes were too much. She couldn't look at him without thinking about her husband being with that woman.

She kept telling herself that it was a bad of seeing things, that this boy was still Inoichi's son and that she had to treat him as her own son..........Yet she wasn't able to do it.

That's why, a week after, she was in front of a certain house in Konoha. She had picked the house that was situated the farther away from hers . She had of course tried to see HER, but the woman would do anything to avoid her.

She had no choice-or atleast that's what she told herself-but to do this. She would abandon him.

Now that was probably the most horrible thing she ever did in her life, however she wasn't thinking straight. Many said that Uchiha were the ones who were affected by their emotions the most, she could be mistaken as an Uchiha right now.

She just couldn't beat with it, she couldn't even think about it. This boy, the son of that bitch! Living with her and her daugther.......NO! She couldn't, she just wouldn't.

As such, she placed his cradle on the ground in front of the house. And she left like that, without even glancing back at him. It was still painful to do that, but the hatred she felt towards that woman mixed with the sadness she felt for her husband's death........It was too much to deal with, she just wanted to forget about it, forget about the sole existence of this boy.

She really should've looked back, for she would've seen IT.

That could only be described as an it. A thing that couldn't be called an human due to the two horns it had on it's head picked up the baby, looking at him with the most wicked smile a being could make. Said thing was actually human, even though it was so scarred, big and foul-looking......That Kaiba giggled, getting a surprised expression from the 'thing'.

"My, my. Ain't you a cute little baby ? I could really eat you up.........You certainly look tasty~"
