Chapter -1 Daydream & clan meeting

Looking at the clear blue sky and the freely floating clouds, Shiki couldn't help but sigh at their free and easy life. Now he understands why Shikamaru likes to watch floating clouds. It's really relaxing.

Yeah, you heard it right. I'm Shiki Hatake, the second young master of the Hatake clan of Konohagakure, and the little brother of the future White Fang. I am a glorious time traveler.

If you ask how I came here, it's a long story...

"Shiki, you are still daydreaming here. Father is looking for you," the speaker was a young lad with a slim figure and grey hair, around 12 years old, with a face that still had some baby fat, but you can still see that he will be a handsome man in the coming years. Yeah, it's the future White Fang of Konoha and my dear elder brother, Hatake Sakumo.

"Oh. Is the old man back from his mission?" I asked with a surprised face. You must know his old man is a proper kage level powerhouse and the right-hand man of the current Hokage, Tobirama Senju.So whenever he goes out on a mission, it takes at least 1 month to 4 months to come back, but this time he came back in just 3 weeks.

"It's your 5th birthday tomorrow. Don't you remember? We will hold a grand banquet at the Hatake mansion tomorrow, and as the family patriarch, he has an obligation to be present," Sakumo said matter-of-factly with his childishly serious face. It looked quite funny.

"Yeah, I almost forgot about the banquet," I say with a stunned face.

"Come on, let's go," Sakumo said with some helplessness.

This is the current Hatake Clan core building where all the clan members live.

The whole clan lives in a single huge mansion because the Hatake Clan still has 15 members, not like Kakashi's time when only a single dog was left alone.

At first, I also thought it was quite weird for so many people to live in a single mansion, but as I grew up, I found out it's a clan rule.

The Hatake Clan is like a pack of wolves, which is led by a leader, and all members live in a group.

After getting inside, as I am going through a few corridors, we came to a huge hall where the clan meeting was held.

After opening the sliding door, a quiet hall came into view. There were three seats on each side and a single main seat of the clan where my old man was sitting.

On the right was the only elder of the Hatake clan, Geno Hatake. At his peak, he was a Kage-level powerhouse, but now he is 65 years old and due to some hidden injuries, he can only exert Jonin-level strength.

On the other five seats were sitting my other five uncles, who also have Jonin-level strength.

"Do you really want to take the position of the patriarch?" asked Shino Hatake, my father and the current Hatake Clan patriarch.

"Yes," said Shiki with the resolute face, which looked quite funny on his five-year-old face.

But no one took it lightly because in front of them was the most talented child ever born in the history of the Hatake clan.

When he was 6 months old, he could walk and talk, and at the age of 1, he could run. At the age of 2, he could read over 100 books on medicine and swordsmanship. At the age of 3, he could refine chakra on his first trial. At the age of 4, he saved the Hatake clan from a financial crisis, and now he is almost 5 years old and can perform Hatake style swordsmanship perfectly.

Not even people like Madara and Hashirama were so talented in their childhood.

So nobody dares to doubt that he is unqualified to be the patriarch of the current Hatake Clan.

"Okay, tomorrow we will hold a great banquet at Hatake Mansion on your fifth birthday and will announce that you will be the next clan head."

"Does anybody have any objections?" For a second, there was a mountain-like pressure.

"No" everyone replied in unison.

"Shino, I have something to talk to you about tomorrow's banquet arrangement," said the only elder of the family, Geno Hatake.
