Have you ever been in the wrong place at the wrong time? It sucks right? sometimes being sucked into something you didn't ask for... that's what happened to me, thanks to an unfortunate coincidence I ended up experiencing a series of extraordinary events most people don't experience in their whole lifetime.
I discovered in an unconventional manner that there was a truth hidden from most of mankind, lurking in the shadows living, beneath the surface since ancient times, rumors say it could grant a single man, the strength of an entire army. In some point of history people decided in order to keep peace and have better lives, they would seal the knowledge about this strength and ban it's use all over the world... However human kind being as it is, with an insatiable hunger for might and glory, they weren't to go to waste something so tide-changing, and therefore organizations were made, groups in charge of sharing, preserving and improving that wisdom and most importantly stay hidden from the world.
Nowadays that strength remains unseen from most of people, however, the tide is always changing, and those with great power, crave even more... Nobody knows what's going to happen, but the only thing certain is something really big is coming.
I personally invite you to give an opportunity to this idea, maybe you'll like it, give me feedback on how the story and narrative feel, after all practice makes perfect right?
The first chapter is mostly about our main character's life and how it would change, it may seem a little slow but it's just to catch you up on what things are going to change. It's my first time writing so buckle up and let's see where this story takes us.
