If Only I Could Return To My Mothers Womb

If only I could retreat

from the Devil's gift of breath

to my mother's womb

I would unlearn of every obscenity

That demeans your love

I would sing no more of serenity

to accept the things I cannot change

I would ease my pain and seek for thee

Unclutter the shattered pieces of my life and keep sane

To deprive my soul and not succumb to the earthly deceits

But that is just an embroidery i wish to portray in my life

The tears , the pain , the sorrow

There is no end to this tomorrow

Only emotional turmoil in my heart so full of content

If only i could return to my mother's womb

For darkness lurks the ways of my path
