7 Chapter 7

[I'll think about it.]

Ashlyn texted back after getting various massages of her begging. Ashlyn placed the phone in her back pocket and exited the elevator who had already opened its doors.

She walked towards the room number and suddenly remembered she had no Key card. She sighed and turned around to leave. 'I'm so forgetful!'

She had not noticed the two men had followed right behind her so when she turned around she bumped into her 'husband's' chest.

She rubbed her nose and glared at him."Watch it."She then turned around to leave not bothering to see who it was.

She turned to leave and suddenly was stopped by Conner who had held her wrist in deep displeasure."Let go."She uttered Coldly.

Oh she had known who it was but just thinking about the incident on their wedding night made her angry.

No furious! Her emotions were everywhere actually.

"I give you three seconds to take your hand off me before I turn your pretty little fingers into sushi" She said giving a frosty glare. He frowned but did not let go. Ashlyn got angry. She had no choice at this point, her anger was urging to get out.

"I said let go of me!" She grabbed his wrist and kicked his stomach with her knee. Sadly her skills were not great so she was not fast enough nor strong enough. She was startled when her skills were not even phasing him.

Finally he let go of her. She humphed and turned around to leave. Conner was left speechless. He didn't understand why she was so against him. Mike just laughed silently behind him.

Conner turned around to glare at him. Mike patted his arm and gave him the keys."Congratulations! Your wife hates you!"

With that he turned around to leave and entered the elevator with Ashlyn who started texting with Cameron again. Conner sighed and entered his hotel room.

Mike looked at Ashlyn and coughed loudly to get her attention. Ashlyn stopped typing and looked at him. "Was that really your boyfriend?"He asked curiously. She sighed."Yes he is why?"

"You do realize you were making out with him in front of your husband right?"He asked again with surprise."So?"

Mike chocked. He could not believe how indifferent she was. " Tell him to send the divorce then." She urged. After that he decided just not to say anything.

[Did you leave anything behind?] Ashlyn texted Cameron.

[Forget it. I think it was my jacket but it's fine don't worry] She texted back.

[If you say so]

The conversation was a little awkward because of the previous events.

[Am sorry baby. I got carried away...]

Cameron apologized. Ashlyn sighed and texted back.

[ You've always been this sly anyway. Girl when are you going to settle down? I know you're hurt from your past but it's toxic to keep this up] Ashlyn texted with worry.

[ I don't really care at this point. You know it's hard...] She responded.

[it's fine don't worry about it.I'll head to your house] Ashlyn texted again and Cameron responded with:

[ Okay see ya there.]

Ashlyn exited the elevator and did not speak with Mike and she went to meet Cameron at her place.

Conner went inside his bedroom and slept for the whole morning. He was very tired since he had just arrived so he decided to head back to the company the next day.

The next day,

Today was Cameron's welcome back party ( prepared by Cameron's father). Ashlyn wore a silver body con dress and together with Cameron they went to the bar where the party was being held.

It was a small reunion. There were not many people there only close friends around the same age as Cameron and Ashlyn. Cameron's father wanted her to have more interactions with her appointed fiancé so he arranged this welcome party.

When they arrived almost everyone had arrived except Cameron's fiancé. After 30 minutes of partying Cameron's fiancée called saying he was not coming which made Cameron ecstatic, so much that even Ashlyn could not control her anymore.

"Give me another one Mandy!"She shouted at Ashlyn.

"It's Ashlyn and Mandy is over there."Ashlyn pointed at the woman on the corner of the room who was currently kissing her boyfriend.

Everyone was drunk and crazy so Ashlyn decided to only drink a little to bit and stay sober. After many years of partying with the same group of friends she knew them very well.

Madeline or 'Mandy' would go to her parent's bedroom and have an eventful night with whoever her current boyfriend is.

Antony Cameron's cousin would go swimming on his own naked on Cameron's house pool and wake up the next morning naked in his car.

Carolina one of their close friends would actually just fall asleep in a random place.

James Ashlyn's distant cousin and the best friend Of Cameron's fiancé would go home and sleep. Yep, the only 'normal' person there.

While Cameron would probably have a one night stand. And Ashlyn would have to make sure these 'incidents' don't occur for the third time again.

She sighed and helplessly looked at them."I will got to the restroom don't move"

They all nodded except for Cameron who just started to laugh maniacally."Haha what? The sex room? Where I want to go to!!"

Ashlyn looked at her best friend and raised an eyebrow when she saw her laughter stop and then drop on the private room's couch.

'Oh asleep that fast? I guess no guy will suffer tonight' She thought and headed to the bathroom.

When she came back everything was the same so she called Cameron's father. "Hey uncle can you send a few guards I won't be able to drop all of them to their houses" She said with a sigh.

"Oh am sorry sweetie I guess her fiancé canceled again huh?"

"Yess he did, "Ashlyn said looking at Cameron who was silently sobbing in her sleep."Don't worry she'll get over it soon."She assured him.

"I hope so...anyway don't worry go home Somebody will pick them all up just give me the room number."He said. "Room 321"

After telling him the details Ashlyn made sure her friends would not escape the room until someone picked them up and left.

When she arrived home she saw there was no butler and servants so she guessed that they were asleep already.

But little did she know that this was just a step to someone's bigger plan.....
