It was not until Howard smashed the lock that what was inside was finally discovered.

Quickly, the security team arrived.

From an initial assessment, Timothy was determined to be the victim of homicide, but the murderer was smart, having wiped away all traces. No footprints or fingerprints were left behind.

When asked if anyone else had been in Timothy's apartment, the landlord was clueless when called over, and the neighboring tenants all shook their heads.

Eventually, one tenant stepped forward. "I recall there was a woman living here too. I've heard the sound of high heels, but I don't know anything else."

A member of the security team asked, "Did you see her? How old was this woman?"

The tenant shook his head. "I didn't see her."

Being directly linked to the case, Howard was, of course, taken to the security team for questioning.
