Fiona coldly snorted. "Just remember that."
"As dogs, you should be aware of your standing. If you have the guts to turn against your masters, I won’t mind skinning you alive!"
She was not just all talk and no action.
She meant it.
She did not regard them as humans.
Her underlings, heads bowed, were all too familiar with the treatment. Despite the humiliation visible in their red-veined eyes, they had to bow. "Miss Melling, your teachings are correct."
Fiona looked disdainfully at the underling she had injured. "What the hell are you staring at? Hurry up and get him the hell out of here. His presence is a total eyesore!"
"But Miss Melling, Franklin can still survive. Are we just going to leave him behind..."
With their close companionship, an underling couldn’t bear it any longer. The careful question he asked earned him a threatening glare from Fiona.
"Are you all starting to ignore my words? Do you want to end up like him?"
