Mark's astonishment increased as he listened to all these things that began to flow from his father's lips. So Angel is really my cousin and something happened twelve years ago that led to this estrangement between my uncle Henry and the rest of his siblings and my father was the only one who opposed them on what they were thinking of doing to my cousin, But what exactly were they thinking? Or what were they intending on doing?

James said in agreement: "I give you my word of honor that your daughter will be fine and no one would dare approach her, even if they are my own children and I swear to that as well."

He continued by asking: "But why did you ask me to do that? Did something happen?"

" You know about my many jobs and that I have to travel from time to time in order to complete my work abroad and every time I leave Angel at home for two or three days.

But this time the period may last longer than that, perhaps a week or a little more. And when I told her about it, believe me, I had never seen her as sad in my life as I saw her at that moment when she was asking me to take her with me"

James asked with a little astonishment: "Did you agree?"

Henry replied, saying: "Absolutely not, Things won't stabilize until after a period of time. How can I leave her alone for all this time, at the same time, I cannot leave her alone at home ,Therefore, you were the only solution."

James said calmly: "You mean to come and stay with me during your absence, right?"

" Yes, and I know that she is the one who asked me to do that She feels lonely being alone and wishes she had friends. As I remember, your daughter Olivia is almost the same age as her. Therefore I hope that she won't be disappointed by what she hopes to see at her uncle's house."

James said firmly: "Her uncle's house is her other home There is no need for any hints."

"In general, Mrs. Charlotte will accompany her and she won't need anything."

"Your daughter is welcome at any time."

"I will bring it tomorrow morning and I hope it will be as promised."

James hung up the phone and said angrily: "He still puts me in the accusation circle even though I always stood by him and his daughter."

Mark, who was beginning to understand some of the conversation that took place between his father and his uncle, asked him: "Dad, who is this Angel? Is she the reason for the rift between you and my uncle Henry?"

His father turned to him as if he had just noticed Mark's presence and said, furrowing his eyebrows: "Were you listening to what I was saying?"

Mark shrugged his shoulders and said: "Not quite, but talking about this girl surprised me, especially since you never talked about her."

His father exhaled sharply and said: "Yes, she is your cousin. She is the reason for the rift between us."

Mark asked curiously: "Why?"

Then he went to one of the maids and Mark watched him with confusion. The latter heard his father saying to that maid: "Prepare the bedroom on the ground floor before tomorrow."

The maid nodded and walked away. while Mark felt his confusion increasing. It is strange for his father to ask for a bedroom to be prepared in the ground floor even though he has more bedrooms upstairs.. What he understood from his father's conversation was that his cousin would come to stay with them for a while ,While his uncle finishes his work outside but why did his father choose the room on the ground floor in particular?

Does he want my cousin to be far away from us or what?!
