"Thank you." Mubai replied with a smile, appreciative of his grandfather's understanding. Xinghe looked at Mubai, her eyes seemed to speak of her appreciation as well. She appreciated his understanding of her refusal, without demanding a reason from her.
Mubai grabbed her hand and leaned in and whispered in her ear, "I'm not that generous, you'll have to explain everything to me when we get home later, okay?"
Without a valid explanation, he would not relent so easily. Staring at Xinghe, Mubai purposely gave a wicked and dangerous grin.
