Derek's days got better and better. He kept in touch with his parents. Sending pictures of only the good side of the training days. Then he introduced his team members and sent pictures of them hanging out together in his family groups for his parents to keep up with. Most times his mother said nothing except asking him to eat and sleep properly and do keep himself clean doing regular laundry, bathing twice a day and cleaning his room. Meanwhile his father kept sending a little pocket money for him to eat. "Pa don't send me," though Derek said this to his father a hundred times, John could not stop himself from doing this for his son.
"If you feel stressed and do something, so save the money and use it it when you need it," John would tell his son. He was sure that Derek is working harder than any boys his age.
