When I left, I didnt know much but I knew one thing for sure. I couldn't stay but I do regret one thing and that is every giving you a chance. By the time I amor done, the whole universe Will know my name. My name is Katherine Mayfield and my friends and I now took back what should have been mine from the start.

Let's start from the beginning. When I was about six years old the government came to my family's hovel and killed my parents. They would have killed me too if it wasn't for them. Both of my parents were tall by the government's standards, my dad was about five eleven and my mom was five eight. I loved both of my parents equally and they loved me too because I was an only child. I always dreamed about having a sibling but my parents couldn't afford it. They could barely afford keeping me around. We live in an area with severe poverty, same with our grandparents.

When the government killed my parents and after they left, I finally had the courage to run to my grandparents house two blocks from our house and tell them what happened. I am now sixteen years old and work in the mines like what my parents did. Even though it has been about ten years since their death and I think about if I wasn't so young, I could have saved them but I know I can't go back into the past.
