Chapter 1 slaughter

The world changed when Dungeons started appearing all over the world.

From these Dungeons Horrifying Creature's came pouring out.

Like a blessing bestowed by God, humans began awakening supernatural powers.

These Humans were called Hunters. They fought and protected humanity from the threat known as dungeons.

It's been five years since then. Humanity has started adapting. Those were dark times for humanity if not for the hunters humanity would have cease to exit.

New dungeons still appear but they are taken care by guilds. They clear the Dungeons and keep them in check making sure Dungeon breaks doesn't happen.

A call from the side woke me from up from my thoughts "Quit daydreaming and get ready". It was Andrew the party leader.

I looked back saw the tense faces of Brook our tank and Lily our magician. The two of them were newly awakened f rank hunters.

"Grrr" at the sound of growling I turned my attention focusing it back to the incoming monsters.

I unsheathed my sword preparing my self to fight against the monsters. In front of me were 5 goblins. (Goblins are low class monster typically found in f or e rank Dungeons)

"Tank get the aggro" Andrew shouted responding to his call our tank Brook came forward raising his shield he used his class special skill TAUNT . The goblins ran forward and started attacking Brook.

"LILY! preapare your spell" Andrew shouted as both of us ran forward. Attacking the goblin. As I swung my sword toward the goblins neck the other goblin ran forward toward me. As my blade struck the first goblin it's head fall off. Spraying the blood in the eyes of the incoming goblin. "Grrrrr" the Goblin as it was unable to see started growling. I took the chance and cut the head of the distracted goblin.

As I finished taking care of the two goblin Andrew took care of the goblin who was still attacking Brook sheild.

"Everyone dodge to the side! I'm gonna shoot fireball" I dodge to the side as the incoming fireball almost hit me and Andrew as it blows up right infront the two goblins. Buring them to a crisp.

"Watch it! That almost hit me" Andrew shouted at the magician "I'm so.. sorry I got a bit flustered" Lily replied apologetically.

"Be careful next time Lily that could have killed us both" I said to Lily as I got up. After picking up the magic stones dropped by goblins. We moved deeper in the Dungeon toward the dungeon boss.

It's been 5 hours since we entered this f rank Dungeon. We defeated 30 goblins in the dungeon since entering. It took us an hour longer because of Lily since she was getting flustered everytime we fought against goblins. After 15 minutes of looking around we finally found the boss room.

We prepared ourselves as we entered the boss room. The Boss room was a cave littered around it was bones of humans and goblins alike. At the edge of the cave was the Goblin warrior.

"Andrew we need to retreat!" I wisperd to Andrew. Andrew looks at the goblin warrior and his jaw drops open as he mutters "shit".

"No we are not retreating. it's asleep we can kill it easily" Andrew said as he looked at everyone.

"Andrew we can't it's a red Goblin warrior" Luke said.

"Be calm Everyone! Lily don't get flustered. Brook in the moment it wakes be ready Luke trust me I know we can win" Andrew said as three of us nod.

Calmly we started moving toward the Goblin warrior.

"Crunch" till the time I noticed it was already too late the goblin warrior noticed our presence roared with fury and hate "roooooaarrr".

Andrew shouted "Brook take the agro" brook still shocked tries using his skill till the time he used the skill against goblin warrior was all but over.

The goblin warrior was fast it attacked Andrew first‚ Andrew tried blocking the sword but the force of the blow broke his sword in half going right through his body cutting andrew in half.

"Noooo" I shouted as I ran forward swinging my sword toward the goblin warrior.

Noticing me the goblin warrior swings his huge sword towards me. I tried blocking the goblin warrior huge sword but the blow send me crashing toward dungeon wall.

Brook scared by the death of Andrew runs for the gate.

"I.. I don't want to di.." the goblin warrior noticing brook running threw his blade toward brook stabbing right through his belly.

"Fireball" Lily casted her spell sending burst of fire toward the goblin warrior. Surprised by the sudden fire the goblin warrior used his hands to block the incoming fire.

"I'll kill you" I roared as I got up and ran toward the Goblin warrior anger clouding my judgement. I swung my sword cutting at the side of his leg . 'shit it was too shallow' as a punch from the warrior send me back I shouted toward Lily who was preparing another fireball "Lily use acid rain on it's eyes I will distract it " Lily nods as I get up and ran swinging my sword toward the warriors belly. The warrior used his hand to try and block the blow. Noticing I won't be able to do much damage from the front I ran forward under the warriors leg slided down and Started slashing his back .

"I'm ready" Lily shouted as I slashed the tendons of the warrior. Making the giant kneel. As I tried slashing the other tendon the warrior used his hand to block the sword.Noticing the chance I shouted "now" the spell Hits the warrior eyes and the warrior shouted in agony "arghhhhhhhh". The warrior in frenzy used his throws another blow sending me flying "LUKE!!" hearing the magician voice he ran and made a grab toward lily Lily ducked as the warrior hand miss still in agony the warrior starts punching and kicking unable to get away in time Lily get's hit as the blow send her Crashing on the wall .

Hearing Lily scream the goblin warrior runs in Lily direction grabbing Lily from his head.

Lily scream's in agony as the goblin warrior uses both his hand squeezing her head sending gore everywhere as her head explodes.

Using the last bit of strength I picked up my sword I threw my blade aiming toward the Goblin warrior skull. Unable to react in time goblin warrior's head was pierced. With the thump the Gaint goblin warrior falls to the ground.

'i feel tired... So tired'

As Luke fell unconscious. A golden light surrounds his body.
