Toya sat down leaning against a tree, he was somewhere in a forest near Hinohara, far away from the busy city of Tokyo. It was not that of a good place to hide when Tokyo's finest were looking for you. But he had no other choice, he had to catch a breath or two.

There was also another reason for staying here. Toya's hospital or where he should be staying was on the opposite side of the map. And this was a good way to let the investigators off track.

Toya's mask was off of his face, now he was wearing plain clothes that he had stacked in his inventory.

"I can't believe that actually worked." Toya muttered. The rush of excitement, getting chased by pro heroes, doing something damn about the Hero Commission, felt good actually, but at the same time he was felling complicated.

'Great you actually succeeded.' The system said, a bit of excitement. 'And with flying colors I might add. I was sure I chose the best host, and you proved me just right.'

"So, system ah… Thanks. But… what do you need to decrypt the data?" He said, "I don't anything other than this right now." On his hands were the prowler drive that was holding the classified info.

'Don't worry about it, just open the mission panel and push the inside the screen like you do it with your inventory.' The system said, 'You should know the rest.'

Toya pulled up the tab, before doing the instructed.

And for the first time Toya saw two 'status recovery' in his inventory. The system had said that using status recovery, one could get 20% recovery in his stats, and even get healed depending on the injury.

And Toya used one of the 'status recovery' functions. A small notification came.

The moment he heard the notification, Toya felt all exhaustion leaving his body. The pain of using his, the small burns that he got in his hands and feet were going away.

And he felt strong, both physically and mentally. It was as if he had woken up from a good night rest. So that's what the system told him about leveling up. "System can it even fix my skin, if I get burn marks again."

Due to him using the RR-Gloves and boots Toya didn't have any burns, though the equipments were busted right now. And soon he would need to use his fires again, which meant burns.

'As long as there aren't any limbs lost. Small to medium injurious and fatigue can be removed through leveling up.' The system said, 'Though, I recommend fixing your heat issues permanently.'

Toya nodded, he knew that. But he just needed to make sure. All of this still seemed surreal. Toya shook his head, now wasn't the time to think about that.

He opened another tab to see his new Status.

'You know your system is awfully similar to video games.' Toya said, 'I am not complaining or anything. But can you tell me why though.'

'Well, how should I say it.' The system hummed, 'Its just that the system was set up in a way that would be familiar to you, who's leaving in this modern time. If you were living in the dark ages, the system would be a lamp in with a Jini or something different depending on the era.'

Oh, that was new.

'You can think of me as a non living being that is filled with supernatural powers shrouded in mystery.' The system said, 'Well, thats what I mostly know about myself. I have figured out not to question stuff thats way too boring. So yeah, thats that.'

Toya then tapped on the second reward, 'The dirt of society'

But the system warned, 'You are about to know stuff that might give you a shocker or stuff… so just a heads up.' Toya nodded.

Underneath the transparent blue screen, it showed a file sign. That had the open button on it.
